One of the most frustrating things about Covid is how randomly it seems to actually cause problems. My 90 year old grandpa tested positive twice, and neither time did he have symptoms. And how is the queen of England not dead… And my dad’s badly overweight, pre-diabetic, ect and Covid has only been “a bad but not serious” cold for him twice now.
If memory serves it was the NBA cancelling a bunch of stuff that started off the toilet paper/covid panic in my area, before that it was essentially crickets. I honestly think professional sports policies influence people more than anything, this is positive.

I'm functionally retarded when it comes to this sort of thing, but how the fuck would these companies have anything approaching an accurate picture of who saw this "misinformation," or what their demographic makeup was? That seems like extremely precise and detailed information that couldn't be gleaned from usernames or email addresses and would require very sophisticated and broad data gathering techniques. Almost like they'd have to be aggressively spying on people.
