I've seen this thread pop up a few times, and tbh it's no surprise to see that this dude has turned into a cow.
Almost from the first time I saw one of his videos it was immediately obvious how disproportionate his ego was compared to what he was doing; like he's some fucking dweeb reading CWCki articles and he already has the attitude that he's made it and he's in the cool kid's club.
He's also one of these idiots who, the second they gain even a sliver of reputation, start swinging their e-dick around creating drama with people and you immediately know they're never going to go anywhere.
If you listen to any Youtuber worth their salt, they will tell you that for smaller channels choosing the right topics to cover is absolutely key to your success. Capitalizing on trending topics is how you get people in the door, so as aggravating as it may be you need to swallow your pride and make content on stuff you don't necessarily love if you want to develop a viewership. That is a hard rule for online creators of all stripes whether they're making videos/movies or writing or visual art or music.
It's clear Dillin is too full of himself to accept that. My guess is he thinks he can make content on whatever and people will just show up and his channel will be fine, because he has the laughable delusion that his success up to this point was on the back of his personality and not because the algorithm funneled people interested in Chris Chan to his channel.
But honestly at this point he may as well cover comics if that's what he wants to do, because him having nuked countless hours of watch time on his Chris videos means his channel is basically done anyways. The Chris train was his one ticket; now that he's thrown it away I seriously doubt he's ever going to see any degree of success on youtube again.
