Mate, I've at least got you using your brain. I never said an actual coup would happen, just that's it's going to cause a lot of unrest and therefore opportunity for a power struggle. I'm not claiming I know what's going to happen, only that I can see the possibility of the wider Russian public eventually being against the war as time (with the sanctions) goes on.

If Putin wants the Russians to stay loyal, he needs to continue giving them what they're used to.

Yeah, Russians will be really pissed off. But they will hate westerners more than they hate Putin.
Sanctions, while not entirely ineffective, sometimes have a perverse contradictory effect. You hate the foreigners fucking you over more than you hate your own shitty leaders. That's just human nature. This is why wars generally boost approval ratings even when people don't approve of the actual war itself.
We should return to good ol' days when great powers of 20th century resolved their grievances with each other by making their shithole sattelites fight and genocide each other
Or we'd just be slapping and bitching at each other and daring each other to a fight and then just decide okay let's fight, but let's fight over there in Elbonia or whatever so our own shit doesn't get fucked up. And then Elbonia gets leveled.

Even if they do revolt, a revolt does not guarantee a regime change.

Would 95% chance just result in liberal ruskies getting the gulag.

Eastern europeans are absolutely willing to kill each other for money or percieved political allegience.

There would be enough tankies to use the long knives and remove the revolt.
Personally I’d be worried about a power vacuum in Russia than Putin.

You might be overestimating your average normie if you think everyone knows to just jump on a VPN or how to.
Idk, 2012 was a pretty big redpill on this subject, even among normalfags.
I'd imagine most of those who care about accessing foreign websites are gonna keep doing so.

I have been scantly checking in on this thread. What the absolute fuck is going with all these random Russian services being closed by corporations. This gives the same creepy vibe as when every single company became BLM activists simultaneously in 2020.

Did I miss something, or is this just typical corporate virtue signaling?
I thought it was common knowledge now that certain (((equity firms))) own majority stake in most major corporations and they all have the same goals.

Did this dead nigger war pop off yet? Or is it still boring with fake nuclear meltdown news and ghosts in airplanes?

Well no matter. We've got a proper update coming soon from a reliable source:

Null is going on a political rant about this whole war.

Also pls Dear Feeder, don't nuke A&N after all where can I get clickbait to enrage myself in the morning each day.

this. dunno why that concept is so hard to grasp. plus unless you have your fingers deep enough in the pot to make sure your guy is the successor, there's an equal chance the next guy is even worse or general chaos like @astatine mentioned.

I'm sorry what now? Are they seriously claiming Putin wants to exterminate Ukranians?
those pictures were going around day 2 or so and debunked, guess they're doing a re-run.

So someone in the reddit thread said putin was claiming russia would fight to the last breath over this? how insanely fucking retarded, hes the ethan ralph of world leaders and ukraine is his faith vickers, a crazy ex he sinks all his time and money into. China realizes that being an economic power house is better than trying to hoist the armaments and go toe to toe militarily with the west and that its actually rather unnecessary dont know how putin hasnt yet,

the claim is actually that the crematoriums are to hide russian casualities to avoid embarrassment and unrest from the war internally

..... do these people not realize russia has existed for centuries not just in this one particular form were fighting with? 100 percent lefties like this would be calling for the lynching of black people when it was socially acceptable.

soviet union and its satellite states boycotted the olympics, the olympics was highly politicized in the cold war by both sides, russia had some controversial basketball win in the 70s thats contested because of clock shenanigans and we politicized the miracle on ice hockey stuff.
I forgot aboot 1984.

The west has been shitting on them for YEARS, fucking decades really,
Try centuries?
How do you sanction the elite? Ban international yacht sales?
Deprive them of the company and approval of their peers? I mean it's not like we can just go murder them. Well we could but things will have to get considerably worse before we hit the heads being paraded down the main drag on pikes stage.

Face it, the world sucks and is unfair. At this point severe social disapprobation is all we can muster, but seriously, as cynical as that sounds, it's a slow grinding social death to be an oligarch from a near-pariah country. These guys (specifically the oligarchs who are actually close to Putin which is NOT all of them some of them HATE him including ones who were previously in his inner circle) are eventually (and possibly even now) making noises about umm, dude, can you please resolve this shit as quickly as possible? Not to be critical or anything but the Missus is really unhappy our favorite hotel on the French Riviera threw us out and we can't even get reservations at Dorsia any more!

It's slow and boring unlike dropping a bunch of bombs on everything but it can eventually lead to a disappointing, unsatisfactory resolution for all sides involved, instead of an absolutely catastrophic disaster for the whole world.

It is common knowledge, but every time this happens I bleach my brain of the memory so that I can sleep soundly at night. And then I see it happen again and the shakes come back.

I've always thought that they were really mainly just useful for keeping military tech out of certain countries hands, which obviously isn't going to have much point with Russia.

I'm not saying Putin is this but I much prefer a benevolent (or semi-benevolent) dictator over a globohomo Democratically Elected™ figurehead who is controlled by a network of handlers who are controlled by a complex and secretive deep state apparatus who are lead by unelected no-names who report to shadowy central bankers and nameless special interests. Just saying.

To me, some weird husk of a human who literally doesn't have an original thought in his head and acts as a vessel for Biblical evil - such as Justin Trudeau - is far more scary than someone like Donald Trump who, although egotistical and selfish, had a vested interest in making his country prosperous (because of his ego).

2016/2017 Trump though. Not after he gave up half-way through his term. You get the idea though.

When we had Kings, they were incentivized to be great because if they weren't they'd be dealing with constant rebellions until they were deposed. You cannot do that with the modern Western system, you can only cope seethe and dilate as everything is stolen from you for eternity.
I'll take QE2 over whatever you have

People don't care about who's next when they hate the person in power. Yes, what anon said is true but I also don't think we've had a war like this that the US isn't 'directly' involved in since the internet's been a common thing, people are much less 'patriotic' by and large.

America has the whole western world following their media, including maaaannnnny Russians.

They're useful for starving countries of resources and financing. If you decide that a country is hostile to your interests, then it's a pretty good idea to stop selling them shit. You wouldn't sell a gun or food to a man who's trying to burn down your friend's house and fuck his wife, would you?
