Have the talks gone anywhere or did the hohols give Russia a list of demands like they have the advantage again?

most importantly a king has a very direct interest in the long term well-being of his country, because he wants his dynasty to stay in power long after he himself is dead
democratic 'leaders' on the other hand literally have no stake at all in the future of the country
Also, not for nothing, but if you had a real shitty king that pissed everyone off there was only 1 head that needed chopping. Idk how many heads would need to roll in the USA alone.

somehow think that starving Russians to death will magically make them want to overthrow Putin and kiss the ring of the people who are making their lives more difficult.

sanctions, boycott, economic blockade, all that stuff is only really useful in the long run if you are willing to eventually fight the real military war as well to finish the job. if you don't do that then you will NOT achieve your goal of regime change. economic pressure alone does not topple governments.
It's not about that. It's about not engaging with them economically because they will use the revenue to build and improve their military that has just proven itself to be a legitimate threat. Putin isn't going anywhere. That has been clear for a long time. The sanctions are to keep him unable to accomplish his ambitions by making and keeping the country weak.

We are in Cold War II, been there for a while, people need to get with the program and realize blowing kisses to the east won't fix anything.

Idk, I guess it depends if you think the difference between dying from covid vs with covid matters. I'd say communism was the cause and the USSR died with sanctions to keep with the analogy.

Feel free to disagree and if it turns out keeping the Russian Blue cat from competing in international feline tournaments topples the Russian goverment and causes Putin to be Gaddafi'd I'll have no problem saying I'm wrong.
Why act like that's all that's happening? The lost major pipeline or pipelines even iirc and several other major things and many many small things. Russia relies heavily on energy and they've said outright they're cutting that and have made even historic allies shy away from Russia

This would be like saying cancel culture here is laughable because you could find an article about idk oewdoepie not being allowed into something silly like a trans salon and reducing it to that. In fact lefties do that to you guys all the time to devalue your criticisms

I don't think Russia will collapse now but the west is definitely gunning on reducing Russia placement in relative economic power and they're already succeeding out the gate.

A soviet union with a less antagonistic relation to the rest of the world ecominically would have infinitely improved the state of it.

Also for these it's not even a Cuba embargo situation this is multilateral global even and with pressure being applied to even old Russian allies who either at most espouse neutrality or are one of a handful of allies willing to go to bat for it

I saw that bald and bankrupt episode in Moldova and almost everyone he talked to missed the days of Soviet rule because of how bad the governments have been since the collapse.

Plus in Hungary, the last two decades of the Soviet shit were objectively good.

After 56 they started to ease up, to avoid another counter revolution. The happiest barrack.

You had job security, enough income to live comfortably and crime was very low.

Many folks recall these parts only. They recall when gypsies were submissive, a job set you up for life, and you could take a month off for a lakeside vacation.

Than privatisation fucked us hard like ruskies are doing to hohols now.

The right being antisemitic didn't endear them to capitalism either, with now gypsies and fags having rights. CCCP also took with itself the criminalisation of homos to the grave. Being a fag was illegal under soviet law.

Best times were axis times, ok times were soviet times a few years after 56, bad times are collapse of USSR, and worst times between the fall of Budapest and the 56 stuff.

This also means we dread ruskies. Pissing them off is worse than rawdogging a bag of dead porcupines.
