And they can't even do orange peel right. Some of it's sanded down, none of it's knocked down, and none of the textures match.

That fucking seam in the middle? No amount of orange peel will hide that shit. You're supposed to use enough mud to hide the seams and sand until there's no visible seam and THEN texture.

PL: I redid the drywall in my living room because I hated the orange peel the shitty "contractor" did in the early 90s because he didn't know how to match the late 50s original hawk and trowel texture. I did some research online, bought some shit at Home Depot and first covered up the orange peel then did hawk and trowel to match the rest of the house. Was it exhausting? Duh. Was it hard? Not really. The entire world is on the internet and there's no excuse for not learning your shit before you DIY, especially if you're offering to do it yourself to someone else's house.

Don’t worry, that’s almost certainly a “spent” generator. I suspect they just buy a new $300 harbour freight piece of shit every winter.

That’s just stupid. How long have they been there, with all that equipment, and not bothered to bury a water line out to the drinking troughs?
Even failing that, the default way to do this is a water bowser or cube in a truck or trailer that you drive around the troughs and fill them from that. Then it’s a single trip, far less time and effort.

Work smarter not harder, fuckheads.
