Zelensky should spend time near the front. The only way to learn is by experience; it probably doesn’t help to lead a war if you know nothing about it and refuse to learn when the opertunity presents itself

A couple of articles in Romanian I think saying that Transnistria is demanding independence from Moldova.
Having seen Balds video on Moldova, I would want independence from them too. Even Bald called it a shithole, and this is a man who toured those small towns that dot the BAM.

North Korea would be way more of an empire if it were economically stronger and iirc north Korea has more Chinese open support than Russia has in this whole deal and Iran getting nukes isn't really comparable imo because nukes or no is a way bigger benchmark than getting a buffer state you don't really need it still really effected them you are way too fucking hung up on sanctions as like a bullet with stopping power vs a caltrop in your heels idk why you can't engage with it as a tool for economic positioning when I've already agreed with you over and over it won't fucking snipe russia dead in its tracks on this.

North Korea is a poverty-ridden hellhole because its ruling dynasty is a repressive, Communist tyranny, and will not allow anyone the marginal bits of freedom needed to rise to even a late 18th century standard of living. They could rise to at least a Chinese standard of living if the Kim regime would just take its boot off people's necks once a week.

Putin's not exactly the world's friendliest, most easygoing autocrat, but he's not a Kim or a Castro. Cutting Russia off from the EU or the USA is going to be disruptive, but there is in the end not a single crucially important trade good or natural resource we can deny them.

Also I heard either the Russian or Ukrainian side mentioned something about conscripts suffering nearly 100% casualties. Anyone got a link?

Two things: She's hyper anti-Putin and a member of the very liberal opposition

and would have absolutely no way of knowing anything about casualties, so this is probably fan-fiction for political point scoring

for those confused about the claim she's making with contracts: She's claiming Conscripts were forced to sign contracts as soldiers (meaning they are no longer conscripts) and were sent to Ukraine. Unlike her casualty claim she pulled out her ass, I think this is likely to have happened with some conscripts.

As if voluntary combatants would matter a rat's ass in this.
Maybe the US would push for non-capital punishment, but would certainly not risk war with Russia over those idiots' heads.
Had to chuckle at "Reddit to WWIII Pipeline" though

Russia is far, far more important to the global food and energy markets then North Korea or Iran. These sanctions are Russian Roulette, they will hurt at least the Europeans just as badly as it hurts Russia. America will have higher Gas and Petroleum prices but will weather the storm, though the American masses will be even poorer.
The American farmer and oil driller is going to make fucking bank. The US is going to come out better in the deal as all the trade can be done favorably. Their competitor, Russia, is the one with limited export markets and everything having to be done at a discount. The US and China are the big winners here. Don't try to reframe this so they aren't.
North Korea isn’t a threat? Somebody should tell the State Department to stop worrying about South Korea.
Yes. They haven't been a credible military threat since the USSR fell, they starved, and the RoK got it's shit together. That's why they worked to get nukes. They knew they couldn't hang conventionally. The south alone could kick the shit out of them. The US is just there as an insurance policy.

So they've got out of the denial phase (NATO are coming to save us). Now we're into anger (NATO suck and they will pay). That leaves bargaining, depression and acceptance.

Hopefully bargaining will come with actually negotiating with Russia but will probably just be offering NATO all their resources and several Ukrainian children to the elites for blood sacrifice if they save them.

"Biden would declare nuclear war to protect retards like us who took it upon themselves to go fight in a warzone as non-military combatants!"

They dont realize they're no different than the retards who go off and join ISIS. They thought they were freedom fighters too.

I wonder if Russia is going to start propping them up again now that it has nothing to lose by doing so.

Was always going to happen. They are being so petulant about this whole thing like a kid who's been told no. Their authorities have been one embarrassment after another.
I didn't really want to believe the Russian stereotype of Ukrainians as retarded hohols, but their government hasn't done much to prove it wrong. Maybe all the smart Ukrainians left.

Here's a thing regarding sanctions, even if it doesn't lead to an uprising (which it most likely won't but we live in a clown world), the sanctions will heavily damage Russia's ability to actually field a modern army, the 2014 sanctions are one of the major reasons why the next generation of equipment Russia had been working on like the T-14 and SU-57 have only had around a dozen of each made so far instead of the hundred or more Russia wanted by now, since their economy went into the shitter and made the parts needed to make them more difficult to acquire.

It's why instead of many countries banning that sweet, sweet, Russian oil, they've put sanctions on modern computer equipment and the like that's needed for newer military equipment. This whole "These sanctions will lead to the downfall of Putin" is PR talk, the actual objective is to make them not be able to even think about modernizing their military.

"Biden would declare nuclear war to protect retards like us who took it upon themselves to go fight in a warzone as non-military combatants!"
It's like when NATO declared they wouldn't see their duty to mutual defense being triggered when Turkey sent fighter jets to Syria to fuck around and find out...
Should be common sense really.

Fun fact if you sign up to a foreign military the state department can assume it was your intention to relinquish your citizenship so process it based on that. If American fags got their asses to Siberia for their larp then they might just be shrugging their shoulders and saying "never heard of them" rather than playing diplomatic incident.
