As if voluntary combatants would matter a rat's ass in this.
Maybe the US would push for non-capital punishment, but would certainly not risk war with Russia over those idiots' heads.
Had to chuckle at "Reddit to WWIII Pipeline" though
As much as I hate Reddit, so long as these retards are wearing Ukrainian uniforms and are doing so with the permission of the Ukrainian government, it WOULD be a warcrime to not treat them as POWs.

This is an old, OLD, part of international law that goes all the way back to the Roman's who would often hire foreign mercenaries. In more modern times, think pirates who were given letters of Marque and Reprisal. Or the French Foreign legion. Basically so long as you are in an identifiable uniform, and the government that owns that Uniform gave it to you, you are a lawful combatant.

The issue the US ran into in the Afghan war was that nobody Recognized the Taliban as a government and certainly not AL Qaeda. They also didn't really wear uniforms. Just the local civilian dress. That was the justification for GITMO and enhanced interrogations. Russia does not even have that fig leaf here though. Ukrain and Russia have exchanged ambassadors after all.

Besides, there is a very good reason for not abusing POWs. If you kill your POWs, the other side may do the same. The North Vietnamese got away with abusing American POWs because they knew the USA would never retaliate in kind by abusing their POWs. I doubt Ukraine would have similar hangup about shooting captured Russians out of hand if the Russians started doing similar shit.

Even if these redditards really fucking deserve it.

Russia's ban on Fertilizer...

That's not going to affect that crap that 18 wheelers now use as a fuel additive is it? I heard that shit mostly comes from... Russia? Am I remembering wrong? I know a shitload of 18 wheelers are stuck in the US cause sensors for that crap are backordered to the tune of months.
Good call. This is really going fuck up adblue production (and so supply chains). This is from late last year

And the situation is getting worse on the gas price front.

"The american public wouldn't accept executions"
Lol why should they even care? No one is forcing american reddit trannies and fags to go die on an active warzone, if you go even after knowing that you can be captured and then executed beforehand then it's a you problem.
"Reddit Tranny Commies don't understand the concepts of personal responsibility and consequences!?"

so long as these retards are wearing Ukrainian uniforms
I was under the impression they'd be wearing rainbow uniforms... over fursuits.

The idea of banning all the Russians from services as a way of hurting Russia really hasn't been thought through. Ideally the way you would do it is to allow common citizens to still access Western services and to forbid oligarchs and businesses and anybody politically involved. Allowing Russians to say, buy a shitload of crypto simultaneously hurts the Russian economy and generates good will in the Russian people towards the West as the economy collapses. By fucking over the common Russian Putin is able to generate propaganda that says that the West hates you and wants to fuck you over which is what the West is actually doing. Additionally you want Russians to have access to things like registrars and hosting services in order to host materials which would be targeted or blocked on Russian infrastructure. Western companies and politicians need to think this through a bit more.
It's almost like war is good for business.
-Work with the state to surrender compromising material.
-Get more lenient governance from the state then your competition.

Ukraine being a "Forever warzone" surplus production of resources can be funneled into.

Undesirable men can be lured into the warzone with promises of wealth and glory while their estates are plundered at home.

The friends of your countries leaders can get startup grants to do collect people's wartime taxes to funnel into projects like "A gun only kills russians who don't think #BLM"

Are they wearing uniforms though? I know that you don't have to be in the regular army. France has the concept of a foreign legion too.
So far I didn't read anything about uniforms etc.
Only some LARP about signing a contract, so that sounds like mercenary work (do they even get paid?) up to that point.
Nothing about uniforms so far.

The sanctions up until now haven't effected the normal economy so much as the Oligarchs, so that's not the reason for the T-14's slow adoption, the thing is just a very very expensive Tank and its technology probably has teething problems we don't know about.
In 2014 the Ruble was valued at around 0.30 USD, after the sanctions took their full effect it hovered at around 0.15 USD until they invaded, the 2014 sanctions caused a crisis that absolutely set back Russia's modernizing plans.

North Korea would be way more of an empire if it were economically stronger and iirc north Korea has more Chinese open support than Russia has in this whole deal and Iran getting nukes isn't really comparable imo because nukes or no is a way bigger benchmark than getting a buffer state you don't really need it still really effected them you are way too fucking hung up on sanctions as like a bullet with stopping power vs a caltrop in your heels idk why you can't engage with it as a tool for economic positioning when I've already agreed with you over and over it won't fucking snipe russia dead in its tracks on this.
The stated objectives weren’t met. Stop with the cope.

Also don’t forget the biggest fuck You fagtions: The Versailles Treaty. Lol. KYS.

Of course he would. You and everyone else at the disabled registration gate.
Found the redditor. You have to go back.
The American farmer and oil driller is going to make fucking bank. The US is going to come out better in the deal as all the trade can be done favorably. Their competitor, Russia, is the one with limited export markets and everything having to be done at a discount. The US and China are the big winners here. Don't try to reframe this so they aren't.
I'm not a farmer or wildcatter, most Americans aren't so we're fucked as high oil prices mean high prices, period.
People have asked if it was this bad with the Russian hate and Russian hysteria during the Cold War.

I'm here to tell you, from actually being there: Not even in the fucking Army stationed in the fucking Fulda Gap.

This is just fucking unreal.

They didn't even act like this over Vietnamese refugees at the ass end of Vietnam and right after.
We have a literal senile old crook as president, a confirmed cocksucker as VP, an ancient and perpetually drunk mafia princess as Speaker. There is a troon in a high position in HHS, generals that have never seen combat in the process of destroying the US military, the one thing we need to maintain hegemony and a SCOTUS jurist picked solely on the color of her skin which lays bare the hypocrisy of our government for all to see. Yes, this is a very different USA from 1985.

Swearing allegiance to another country may cause you to lose US citizenship (unless its Israel).

We sunk our battleship.

Ukrainian Navy sinks its flagship so that Russians don't get it.

They were sinking it to give it to the afterlife so that it can become the ghost pirate ship of Kiev that will haunt the Russians for generations.

That mansplaining at the end really goes to show you..
