Does anyone else have some reservations about this whole 'canceling of Russia'? I think that Russia's invasion is completely unjustified, but I'm not onboard with how we have all of these corporations messing with the lives of Russian civilians. America's goal should be to get Russia to end its invasion by using sanctions to cripple the Russian government (optimistic, but that's all we can do other than giving the Ukrainians weapons). The only thing that will really hurt them is targeting their energy industry, which is where the government gets most of its funding. Doing this will probably hurt the average Russian civilian to some degree, but it's better than the alternative. It's like using guided munitions to destroy an arms factory in a city vs. carpet bombing a city that happens to have an arms factory in it.
They will use it domestically. Red states that get too uppity will be declared to be "aiding Russia" or some bullshit.

It seems extremely counter productive. If it was just the US doing it I'd chalk it up to usual US stupidity but it seems everyone was quick to bully Russia without considering the possible ramifications because Putin is literally Hitler or something...
So to punish the asshole in Moscow they decide to ruin the lives of millions of Russian citizens and then tell them to rise up. Rise up against literally Hitler? In Russia??

I refuse to believe this was thought out.

I really have honestly nothing to say about this tweet that won't land me on a watch-list. The comments by his followers is the icing on the shit cake.

One of the world's most colossal do-nothing faggots. The world will be better without him on it. He should be donating millions to Ukraine's war efforts. Consider it a patriotic donation, faggot.

In the 1980s the idea was to bring western "culture" to the other side of the USSR iron curtain. The free flow of ideas would bring peace on earth.
In the 2020's the west is rebuilding that iron curtain. The free flow of ideas is violence.

Nice of a rich faggot to volunteer my fucking wallet when he makes more off his bank interest than I do in a fucking year.

I hope he gets AIDS.

He should be donating ALL of his wealth to the war effort.

If you are willing to make others die penniless, you should be willing to die penniless yourself.

I maintain my hypothesis that there are only two types of people in this world: Doers, and Talkers. Nut up, or shut up.

But we haven't stopped Russia oil, we are just considering it. Nothing makes any sense! Putin is still getting our money.
WASHINGTON, March 4 (Reuters) - The Biden administration is weighing cutting U.S. imports of Russian oil and ways to minimize the impact on global supplies and consumers, the White House said on Friday, as lawmakers fast-track a bill that would ban Russian energy imports entirely.
