General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Holy Jesus Christ. And the drama never stops coming aye?

Let the tribalism ensue...

Oh shit it gets spicier.

This year is truly exceptional. INB4 we get a full-fledged flame wars between the fans of Hololive and Nijisanji. It'll be glorious!

In all honesty these consecutive occurrences of drama happening in the Vtuber sphere are already tiring me out. For the love of God and for the love of all things good in this goddamn world, learn how to use OBS and learn some fucking OPSEC. It's not even funny at this point.

All I can hope for is that some staff between those two companies talk it out and resolve it peacefully. Especially the people involved in that conversation.

If the drama-hungry clout-chasing retards pick this up and wring it like a wet, dirty mop there'll be a torrent of unrest. We might see some suspensions if this really gets out of hand.

On a related note, competition sometimes brings out the true nature of people. Funny how a little insecurity (and a lack of secrecy) tends to snowball into major yabs.
Discord sowing discord. It never ends.

Edit: @Scuttle Possibly, but when you say something on the internet, it's like a bullet, it won't go back in the gun. All Vox has to do is just Connor and say it's out of context, he'll be fine. Calli will forgive him.
I'm not concerned about forgiveness either way. They only talk on twitter and there's seemingly never been a wink or nod from either of them that there is interest in a collab. NijiEN and HoloEN never talking again doesn't have any material loss to either fanbase, only potential loss.

So with the timestamp of 05:55, the timeline was around the same time Calli's stream was delayed. So I think it's safe to say that Vox really did referred to Calli

Petra is on an Asian timezone and the Stardew Collab started at 3am GMT, so it would have been about 12pm midday for her. The messages came from 6 hours before Calli's stream was scheduled to start.

Is it safe to at least rule out Vox talking about that specific Calli stream?

Hmmmmmmmmmm.
I'm starting to notice patterns, Mr Goldenstein.
Are you saying that there are so much of people out there hungry to read our commentary?

I have a feeling this thread gives the wikihow dog a bit of a headache, sorry about that

The more I read the screenshot, the less inflammatory it comes off as. Really, the only actual issue is perhaps what Fulgur said because he's taking a stab at corporate projections and guessing that Council did not achieve what Cover thought they would after Myth (which might be true but still).

Reading it again, Vox's comment is a direct response to Shu, who is meme'd in the NijiEN community as the 'Tech Support Guy' (Shupport). Shu says that he applied for Hololive and they didn't want him, and Vox responds says that 'Holo tech in shambles but Niji thriving thanks to Shu'.

It's a joke that can easily be misconstrued, but I do now think that the intent was moreso to compliment Shu's impact on saving them during stream troubles than it was a specific dig at Hololive.
Well, if he want to compliment Shu that much, why won't he just leave the company alone. Whatever he said clearly make him look very unprofessional.

Now would be the best time to rush through an exciting collab like that to sweep this under the rug, yes. That assumes however that HoloEN are interested in that, and why would they be? Seems like a dumb idea to help your biggest competitor up when they've made a blunder, especially when that blunder involves shittalking you.
I wouldn't suggest doing it right away. Cover could give a week or so of Niji stewing in this shit before Kiara suddenly swoops in with an olive branch, showing how magnanimous Hololive is compared to the Niji. It would be a brilliant way to rub dirt in their eyes.

I'm gonna keep harping on Deadbeats saying Calli doesn't need Hololive when she was acting like a retard defending Connor, or any other time she gets into drama. Every time I do I get a reaction.

Your oshi's career is now built on an industry she spent years shit talking.

Edit: Google Translate may be the Lord of RRats, but Discord is the God of Yabais.
You mean outside of here? There is a reason why deadbeats are hated even in their own fanbase.

If I say yes would it make you happy?
I was genuinely asking. The thread was moving a mile a minute.

If the discord reads Petra's time then it would have transpired hours before Calli's collab stream was running into issues. I feel like it's pretty safe to rule out that Vox was actively attacking Calli while she was fixing her stream.

And I'm genuinely asking too. Will it make you happy? This isn't me being a dick, I generally like you man. Would you like me to blind eye the possible Cali diss and I go find something else to do?

Reason why Roberu get that title is because he’s somewhat pandering to fujos and gay bait due to his voice is passable for being gae much to the guy dismay.
Uhhh... No? It's a tongue-in-check reference to the "Are you winning, son?" meme.
Calm down.
Stream still going on but DD said during the steam that she thinks in the future she will spend half the year in the states and half in Japan. No ETA on when that would happen but would make future EN off-collabs easier.

Edited in the clip.

That's a lot of traveling and none of it is cheap.

Calli has a guerrilla Elden Ring stream in slightly over 2 hours. I'm not looking forward to the chat.
(This is also half an hour after Holotalk starts, for rrat feeding purposes.)
New rrat: Kiara's new found successes outside her orbit has driven Calli to sabotage her to put her back in line. Case in point her lack of effort in the Omocat contest :story:
