Kamala sounds like she's trying to reach the minimum word limit for an essay. The phrasing she uses is kind of infantilizing and redundant. People aren't stupid. Most of them don't care about the geopolitical issues that got both Ukraine and Russia here in this situation in the first place. But a brief overview of "Russia did X, so in response, Ukraine did Y" should suffice.
She can't give an overview because she doesn't know anything about the situation and hasn't bothered to educate herself. She does this enough that it's clear she's only able to spout whatever her staff/twitter/msm has told her or said, and nothing beyond that. No critical thinking, no nuance, no thinking on her feet.

Our country is run by people who have zero knowledge about history or culture or anything outside their little enclave, and either can't or don't want to make the effort to do something about their ignorance. It's why they can flip flop so easily (that and they have no integrity or scruples).
I don't get the outrage over kamalahs explanation. She was doing an interview on a rap station. Do you think the listeners would understand Cold War history, Nato and Russia's claim of buffer states? she played to her audience.
No, but she doesn't have to sound like she has the IQ of a freezer, either.

Just a thought on Hillary-- what if her entering the race isn't about gaining the presidency, but wresting control from the Obama faction of the DNC? If she can't be the queen of the mountain, she can be the princess of the mudpit.

Hmm lets see now

The Clinton foundation has be pretty much defunct over the last 5 or so years but the money it invested turned out pretty well

As of 2022 the Foundations current bankroll is on the order of $235 million US as far as assets go.

Pretty solid bank roll for...I dunno, just spit balling here...a second run at the PotUS?

I said it earlier and I'll say it again.

It will be Trump vs HRC in 2024 and the Dems will do anything and I mean anything, to win.

I honestly expect it to get really really ugly. With the MSM and Tech Giants throwing away any pretense of neutrality and doing what ever it takes to keep Trump off line and out of the Whitehouse. Last time they under estimated his appeal to the masses. This time around there will be no positive coverage anywhere. Everything the normies see will be 100% "fact checked". 100% sanitized and 100% with the Democratic program in mind. 2024 will pretty much be the text book for all future elections in the US going forward.

The Donald...it will go down. Due to "hackers" or some made up complaint like child porn or something similar. Google will pull and hide any bad news about HRC, she'll have total carte blanche to run with as both the tech giants and the MSM will 100% cover for her. After all they're with Her!

Yah,its going to be ugly and if the Dem's get sloppy and let something slip...well America will never be the same.

I know I know that's just the doomer mindset but...what else do you think is going to happen?

Do you honestly see an outcome where Trump gets elected? Where more ballots aren't found at 4am in just the needed amounts by chance? Where some counties have 100% voter turn out, even those voters that happened to have died that year? Where mail in votes are counted for weeks after the election date? You know..they just keep trickling in until HRC has the win by coincidence?

Yah...really ugly.
I kind of doubt they could try to run Hillary again. Is the third time supposed to be the charm?

For one thing, she looks absolutely terrible. Maybe that doesn't matter as much since they were able to get and keep Biden in so far, but she's a much more divisive figure than he is when it comes to public opinion. There were people who voted for Sleepy Joe that would never ever vote for Hillary.

The primaries are still two years away, so who knows for sure, but I'd still be surprised if they honestly tried to make Hillary the nominee for a third time.

Man you aren't kidding with that. She's going to be 77 years old in 2024, and you're right that she's looking fucking rough these days. The juxtaposition of her blonde wig/dye job sitting atop her wrinkly collapsing gourd of a face is pretty unsettling and almost comical. I can't decide who looks worse between her and the mummified 81-year old Nancy Pelosi. I wonder if they keep these ancient liches in huge tanks of formaldehyde between public appearances, but it honestly must be pretty unpleasant for them to keep politicking well into their dotage.

You never know-the third time seemed to be the charm for Biden.

It really says something about the current state of the Democrat field that fucking Hillary is their best option. But I guess that's what happens when the higher-ups refuse to invest any time in training their eventual replacements for fear of being usurped before they're ready to leave, to the point that we now have a bunch of septuagenarians and octogenarians in power and nobody waiting in the wings. And whenever someone younger does get in, they're a batshit prog that the establishment doesn't want anywhere near the levers of power, partly because they only care about enriching themselves and not doing any of the prog agenda beyond lip service, partly because the progs make the entire party look bad.

Hell, look back at the 2020 clown car field. The Democrat machine and the media (but I repeat myself) were trying desperately to find a strong, young, preferably diverse candidate to rally around, to the point that you'd get whiplash following whichever candidate they were attempting to boost that week. But every one of their younger up-and-coming types failed miserably, like Robert Francis "Beto" "hell yes we're taking your guns" O'Rourke or "Mayor" Pete Bootyjudge. Kamala (not really young but not decrepit either) ticked all the diversity boxes, but after Surf Mommy torpedoed her campaign in one of the first debates, she fucked off before the first primary when her poll numbers didn't even break single digits. The establishment never forgave Tulsi for that, so they actively worked against her for the rest of the primary. I do still laugh when I consider that Tulsi managed more delegates than Kamala, though (one is greater than zero, after all). The rest are not even worth mentioning.

Then on the other side, you had the olds. I continue to doubt just how much Uncle Boiney actually cares about progressive causes; you don't spend decades in Congress without becoming a swamp creature, and he found the perfect grift as Redditors threw money at him hand over fist. Still, he could never be allowed to be the candidate, that would embolden the progs into thinking they were more than just useful idiots. Fauxcahontas played up her progressive bonafides, but let's face it, she's establishment through and through, even playing her part perfectly by staying in the race long enough to split the progressive vote and prevent Bernie from winning too many delegates.

Biden was without a doubt the establishment's last choice for a candidate, but with no other options after all the other failures, they needed a stooge to rally around. Thus, they played their usual games to ensure the people didn't really have a say in the matter. The other establishment goons were pressured to drop out, likely promised favors if they did (how else does Bootyjudge end up in the Cabinet?). Warren was told to stay in to act as a spoiler, and only suspended her campaign after it was clear Biden was going to be the nominee. Clyburn made that endorsement for Biden in South Carolina that killed Bernie's momentum after the first primaries. Add in superdelegates, and the establishment got their stooge.

But now, after a single year of utter failure, Biden looking increasingly corpse-like, and more and more Dems distancing themselves from this dumpster fire of an administration, the DNC is probably desperately looking for anyone who might fare even a little bit better. Kamala is hated even more than Biden, so she's a non-starter. And again, there are no up-and-coming establishment politicians, just batshit progs. Put it all together, and they really don't have anyone better than fucking Hillary.

The only question now is, are they crazy enough to try it?

Again, notice how they don't say "thank you to the Russians who've been speaking out against this war as well". No nuance whatsoever, it's just RUSSIA = BAD, UKRAINE = GOOD. Do they not realize that this and the banning of Russia from literally everything will only make the Russians further resent us, and therefore, keep the war going even longer?

Rhetorical question is rhetorical. I know the answer is "yes, and that's exactly what they want." *sigh*

ETA: Case in fucking point. I'm just sitting there, watching the latest episode of Wha Happen? , when, all of a sudden, in the middle of this show talking about video games that crashed and burned.....

<U C WHAT I DID THERE?!?! NOW I CAN REFERENCE UKRAINE!
You know, I let shit like "Defund Stryker" in the MK Collection video slide because it was only a slight jab. if anything, I just groaned and rolled my eyes. I let it slide anytime he "yikes" it up whenever a tranny is "badly portrayed" in a video game, because YouTube would strike that shit down if he said anything to the contrary or even defend their decisions. But this was WAY too obvious and obnoxious.

>fined for being a victim of vandalism

Either these journos don’t know shit, or the cops are acting as political censors working to shut down any dissent

Edit: Nevermind, its because he's a corporate cuck who can't be bothered to switch chains or realize that working at a gas station isn't a career just because you're there 60 hours a week.

Some interesting news from last month that might have been overlooked.
Feds oppose immediate release of voting machine report
By KATE BRUMBACK
February 11, 2022

ATLANTA (AP) — A federal cybersecurity agency is reviewing a report that alleges security vulnerabilities in voting machines used by Georgia and other states and says the document shouldn’t be made public until the agency has had time to assess and mitigate potential risks.

The report has been under seal since July in federal court in Atlanta, part of a long-running lawsuit challenging Georgia’s voting machines. Its author, J. Alex Halderman, said in sworn declarations filed publicly with the court that he examined the Dominion Voting Systems machines for 12 weeks and identified “multiple severe security flaws” that would allow bad actors to install malicious software.

Plaintiffs in the case, who are election security advocates and individual voters, have for months called for the release of a redacted version of the report and urged that it be shared with state and federal election security officials. Lawyers for the state had repeatedly objected to those requests, but Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger last month put out a news release calling for its release.

U.S. District Judge Amy Totenberg agreed on Feb. 2 that the report could be shared with the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency, or CISA. The agency said in a court filing Thursday that it would work with Halderman and Dominion to analyze potential vulnerabilities, develop any necessary mitigation measures and work with jurisdictions that use the machines to test and apply any protections.

CISA said it would complete its “coordinated vulnerability disclosure” process as quickly as possible, but urged the judge not to release the report before it’s done, saying “premature disclosure of Dr. Halderman’s report, even in redacted form, could, in the event any vulnerabilities ultimately are identified, assist malicious actors and thereby undermine election security.”

The report was initially designated “attorneys’ eyes only,” meaning even the actual parties to the lawsuit couldn’t see it — only their lawyers and expert witnesses could. Halderman, a voting technology specialist and director of the University of Michigan’s Center for Computer Security and Society, urged the court to make his findings public in a limited and responsible way so that problems could be addressed.

Halderman told The Associated Press in August that he’d seen no evidence that the machines’ vulnerabilities were used to tamper with the 2020 election, but he said “there remain serious risks that policymakers and the public need to be aware of.”

Totenberg has resisted making the report public, saying she too is concerned it could be exploited by attackers.

Raffensperger’s news release went out Jan. 27 while the lawyers in the case were on a conference call with Totenberg. Noting that all parties in the case had come to agree that the report should be made public, an attorney for the plaintiffs asked the judge to release a version redacted by Halderman to exclude details showing how hacks could be carried out.

In a Feb. 2 phone call, Totenberg agreed that the report could be released to CISA but did not immediately decide whether it could otherwise be made public. She instructed the parties to talk with the federal agency to get information about its review, saying she wanted to know whether CISA would provide any guidance as to what should and shouldn’t be disclosed.

Lawyers for the plaintiffs suggested that Totenberg make a redacted version of the report public 30 days after CISA received the unredacted version. A lawyer for the state didn’t object to CISA getting the report, but said the public release should not be delayed, arguing that keeping it sealed undermines confidence in the election system.

Raffensperger said during an Atlanta Press Club event Thursday that Halderman had unlimited access to the touchscreen ballot-marking machines and was given the security codes, so he wasn’t operating in “the real world.” Halderman wrote in a declaration for the court that attackers could install malicious software “either with temporary physical access (such as that of voters in the polling place) or remotely from election management systems.”

The lawsuit alleges that Georgia’s voting machines are not secure and should be replaced with hand-marked paper ballots. Halderman, an expert witness for the plaintiffs, is a staunch supporter of hand-marked paper ballots.

Others have also sought access to the report. Totenberg last month rejected a request for access from the secretary of state in Louisiana, which uses the Dominion system for early voting. She has not yet ruled on requests for access from Fox News and One America News, both of which are facing defamation suits filed by Dominion.

CISA said in its court filing that it “understands and shares the parties’ urgency with completing this work, and will prioritize its completion as expeditiously as possible.” It proposed that it would notify the court within 30 days about its progress, its timeline and its thoughts on the “scope and information to be included in a future public disclosure.”

The doom and gloom is what has happened in the whole post-war period is uniparty. Democrats acting like Republicans and Republicans acting like Democrats. Just one big mush of the wealthy bigshots getting their way constantly and a false right/left paradigm in place to make it look like one side is winning, one side is losing, and each election is THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION EVER when there's not a dime's worth of difference between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney being president, or Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush being president.
Don't you think its peculiar how after FDR and the constitutional change to impose term limits on the presidency there has never been more than 12 years of the same political party being dominant? That is by design. More than 12 years would make the natives restless.

My hot take? They'll rehab and run Mitt Romney before Hillary Clinton again. What makes you think the true shotcallers really want permanent democrat majority? If they wanted that, the "voting rights" bills of Democrats Win Forever that have been written up for at least 10 years now wouldn't have spent the last 10+ years rotting in Washington DC.

he U.S. Air Force’s capability has sunk to 70 percent, according to reports from Frontpage. Only 7 out of 10 planes were mission-capable in 2021. At present, none of the planes required to countering any significant aerial attack or engagement from the Chinese Communist Party or others are more than 70 percent capable.

Towards the end of the Trump administration, the U.S. military dropped the expectations set by the Commander in Chief. Defending this decision, an official from the Office of the Secretary of Defense reportedly told the GAO that the U.S. military had decided to move away from narrow goals for specific aircraft and was instead exploring “a more holistic view of readiness.”

Chief of Staff Charles Brown and Chief of Space Operation John Raymond suggested that the U.S. Air Force “should be a balance between mission readiness and ensuring people’s voices are heard,” when asked about U.S. Air Force focus on racism instead of readiness. Under Brown’s leadership, the U.S. Air Force has focused on mitigating unconscious bias, perceived racism, and expanding the diversity of the U.S. Air Force.

China has spent the last year comprehensively developing their air force using stolen technology and American-funded research. Many U.S. companies, including Pfizer, have partnered with military-linked Chinese organizations and military universities to further their research and development.
