So here at KiwiFarms, I think we should stay on mission, even in war we an army marches on it's stomach, and we still need the Milk of lolcows.

Enter a New epoch, the Armchair general.
-Lazerpig is a prime candidate.
-We need to ensure we clown on the Armchair aspect of the armchair general.
-Arguing with them about militry facts just makes us armchair generals, it is the behavior in the self proclaimed expertisie that makes them lolzworthy

Russians took an elevator to cover from the roof and the Ukrainians turned off the power

Serves them right, fucking stupid getting an elevator in an active warzone.

TLDR: We've been exposed to proganda against Russia since 2007 in one of the biggest gaming franchise consumed by tens of millions of people every year. And those people include impressionable Boomers, Coomers, Zoomers and Millenials who some grew up into hating Russia today, and in the future.
That's because Russia's been the enemy for far longer than that. For decades they were adversaries of the USA and western Europe as the Soviet Union. Which let's be honest, "Soviet Union" was just Russia giving a grandiose name to itself and the countries it had fully subjugated(or that had been subjugated by the Tsars back when it was Russia).

Then the Soviet Union fell apart in the early 90s as it could no longer economically make things work. All of its "allies" who didn't want to be its ally moved to break free of its influence, and all the "parts" of the Soviet Union who'd never wanted to be part of it broke away and declared independence, leaving just Russia which changed its name to reflect the reality that the government had collapsed and been replaced by a new one. People started to think the west could be genuine friends with them, but after the way Putin handled Chechnya, that optimism began to fade and the expectation they'd be an adversary started to resume. Something Russia did nothing to prevent with the way they dealt with Georgia or grabbed Crimea.

So it's not a matter of people growing up videogames hating Russia. It's that Russia own actions strangled good will towards Russia and video games reflect that.

So, does anyone know any significant news about this conflict and its expected trajectory?

All I hear about is politicians bitching, Zelensky begging for foreign military intervention, Russians getting sanctioned, American companies pulling out of Russia, Ukrainians fleeing and getting bombed, Russians capturing/re-capturing Ukrainian territories, and unproductive negotiations and failed ceasefires.

At the beginning of this conflict, there were numerous articles stating that Ukraine would win and claiming that Putin was frustrated that his invasion was failing/significantly delayed. I’m no longer seeing those articles, so I’m assuming this means that you thre Russian invasion is successful and Ukraine is fucked?

Then, I’m hearing about Ukraine currently training riflemen and once the training is conplete, they will give the Russian military a difficult time? Though, I see no official articles about that. I’m not a military person but a few weeks of training doesn’t like sufficient time to create competent rifleman.

This is the most self-serving view of post-Cold War history I can imagine.

A lot longer than that, in TV, movies, etc. There was never a cease in Russian being portrayed as "bad guys". Even when Muslims were the "IRL bad guys", media often used Russians as the terrorists, because that was more PC somehow. To be fair, even in a lot of Russian made shit, they portray themselves as the bad guys. I think they like it. Like how Mexicans just get a kick out of beaner jokes and Mexican stereotypes (the only "racism" that actually upsets Hispanics is calling them White).

Totally true story that is only backed by twitter screenshots. There is absolutely no video proof that these soldiers were ever trapped in this elevator. Some pro Ukrainian media claimed this and all twitter clapped to it like fucking seals. I'd like to hate Russian propaganda, but when it comes to this war Ukrainians make me hate them even more with their blatant and consistent lies.

You know just as much as we do, I am afraid. There is no insider privy to the plans of either government in this thread, nor is there a source of reliable information. There are just us, armchair polytical analysts (formerly world-class virusologists).

This is the kind of mistake the Redditors will be making when they arrive in the conflict zone.

⟿Doesn't believe in The Elevator of Kiev.

Ngmi.

Speaking of propaganda that's a theme in this thread, anyone thinks we've been subject to Russia being the main antagonist, when the literal main antagonists in games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare around 2008 has been Russian Ultra-nationalists? The same Ultra-nationalists that gamers would fight against in Modern warfare 2 and 3? The same enemy, in extension, to Modern Warfare reboot? The reboot that the depicted the Russians so badly, that the country banned said reboot from being sold in its soil, much like how Russia banned social media like facebook because Russians weren't allowed to protect themselves on these platforms, but its a team-effort for foreigners against russians?

I'm using Call of Duty as an example, cause we know how much Activision makes off this Franchise, how many tens of millions play these games when new COC titles come out every year, even though each iterations are virtually the same thing

I see you've conveniently forgot to mention how the Ultra Nationalists are responsible for several atrocities and that they tried to keep WWIII going by kidnapping the Russian president and his daughter, who were no longer in full support of the group.

Also, the main villain in Modern Warfare 2 was General Shepherd, an American who wanted to be a glory hound and was willing to start WORLD WAR III to do so, cause as he said; "I lost 30,000 men in the blink of an eye. And the world just fuckin' watched."

Yes, this happened as a result of the Ultra Nationalists nuking said 30K men, but still; an American General was the main villain of the second game. There are also several Russians who literally save the lives of important characters and are clearly meant to be allies or repenting former enemies.

They're literally trying to pry the door open

Look at the guy trying to pry the door open in the back you tard
Point me to a prying attempt from a still photo please nigger.

Edit: You edited the post to add in a picture of a guy holding his gun way away from a door. You can even see the seam of the elevator doors a distance away from the rifle. Way to prove your point.
