They have gross shit, but it's counteracted by all the actually good dishes they have, which are like better versions of the westernized ones served here because they're not full of corn syrup and other fake shit. Nobody is forcing you to eat eggs boiled in urine when you can just have some nice stir-fried pork or something.

For all the hate food from Great Britain gets, Irish food is somehow even worse. They couldn't cook up a flavorful dish to save their lives. Literally the worst of the British Isles. At least Scotland has haggis, pies and ales. All Ireland has to be proud of are stouts and stews.

Scandinavian "cuisine" is 95% fish, potatoes, and leeks. Their biggest accomplishment is finding a way to make meatballs, but without any of the flavor or savoryness of the Italian version. Each nation has some turbofucked thing they do to fish that, half of the time, I'm convinced is an orchestrated prank on foreign visitors.
Even their pizza is fucked. Who in their right mind puts salty licorice on a pizza? Swedes, that's who.
There's a reason they drink so heavily, it's to cleanse their palate from their disgusting dinner.

Peruvian food doesn't get enough hate. For a country where one of the hottest peppers in the world is from, it's very bland. Bland and bad.

I was mad on the internet about this but then I realized Lomo Saltado is fuckin Japanese stir fry in a soy-worchester sauce. I also remembered the cold potato slices in (mysteriously bland) mustard and how they fucked up weenies in spaghetti even and realized you are so very correct. I love roast chicken but everyone does roast chicken well.

Except maybe Nigerians. I never tried their chicken because I couldn't get past those weird little tamale balls full of stinky bony fish. Like a vegan meatball except with lots of pointy shit in it. Maybe it was chopped up fins?

Where Jews excel is baked goods and meat. Real pastrami and brisket are fantastic and challah needs to be very fresh, but you need to either make it at home or buy from a good bakery. When it's fresh it's super soft and fluffy and brioche-like, easily one of the most delicious breads out there. Bagels need to be bought from a good bagel place and consumed that morning.

The thing about white people not being able to handle spicy food is true for pre-Gen X generations in the Midwest. Classic Midwestern food is not spicy in any way, so many boomers and silents didn't grow up with anything hotter than black pepper.

British. I'm British myself and it's the worst. We can get a lot of really good food here, but it's all from former British colonies or Commonwealth countries, like Indian, Chinese, Malaysian, Kenyan, Caribbean.

WW1 and WW2 did a number on trad Brit food. Especially after the rationing of WW2, a lot of Brits simply didn't have access to anything other than processed garbage, supplemented with the most basic vegetables (peas, cabbage, carrots and potatoes).
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and River Cottage opened my eyes to pre-rationing style trad British food.
People have horror pictures of jellied eels and pie, mash and liquor, but nobody remembers the amazing cakes and baked goods, proper Cornish pasties, roast venison, rabbit casserole, game hens, not to mention Britain's highly underrated seafood. Hell, roast beef and the very concept of 'steak' are British.

If all you choose to eat is monster munch and angel delight don't go about claiming Brit food is shit, because you come across as never having had any.
