James likes to think the actor was an actual vampire...
...yeah, I can see why he was in Special Ed.

That rumor about Max Shreck has been around since the movie was shot and was the basis for Shadow of the Vampire that had Willem Dafoe playing him.James likes to think the actor was an actual vampire...

Dude was a method actor and iirc went all out on Orlok. I can believe people from the 1920s bought it in some fashion. That doesn't stop it from being retarded.

Well, he has some self-awareness, at least.Odd that Crustin only kept the Cinemassacrethruth AMA...
It feels more like that's the only clout he can get now. That he was THAT guy... wonder if he will go Brutus and start ratting on how bad things really are on the inside, he feels like one of those guys.Well, he has some self-awareness, at least.
It's an okay video. He doesn't really bring much to it that hasn't been ruminated before but for people not totally familiar with Nosferatu. The line at around 8:00 where he thinks the actor playing Orlock may have been a real vampire was very cringe indeed. The line towards the end where he considers the Herzog remake is "The 2001: A Space Odyssey of horror films" is bizarre indeed.
It's a "James gives a fuck about what he's talking about" video. At some point he gets sidetracked some vampire facts he's talked about before but it's better than Mario fucking Maker.
I watched that long ass video last night and was wondering if it was a troon. Something about the way they speak always clocks them, I don’t know if it’s an attempt to mimic female enunciation or what. That and they’d go off on tangents about video editing that seemed akin to what an autistic dude might sperg over, but I shrugged and watched anyway. It’s a good look into the drama for any tl/dr folks out there. It's an okay video. Yeah, it's a tranny but they made a good video on the failure of Doug Walker's Demo Reel so this might be interesting to watch.
Opinion discarded, then.Yeah, it's a tranny
He just sounds like a gay guy pitched up. Besides, Sarah Z often brags about having a pet trans to give her opinions more clout or something,I watched that long ass video last night and was wondering if it was a troon. Lady Emily is a writer for Sarah Z. I thought her Demo Reel was good despite a few issues, but I'm probably not going to watch her Cinemassacre video. Her prelude video was just talking about her mental health issues and how people wanted her to do more drama videos so that pretty much turned me off watching the Cinemassacre video. He just sounds like a gay guy pitched up. I think he has to reinvent it somehow now. This would probably be the easiest way to do it (playing good games must be better than shitty ones. could do good with the enthusiasm). The legendary shit out there are covered, the schtick is old as fuck at this point. There simply cant be very much more he can do with the nerd without changing it up a bit.If I were James I'd consider putting a more positive spin on AVGN. Start playing and talking about good and/or underrated games. He pulled it off with his Earthbound review whilst still keeping up the AVGN shtick and that was a great video. I know shitty games have been the MO since day one but at this point it could freshen things up a lot, bringing good older games to a larger audience. Its safe to say that a lot of AVGN viewers are to some extent retro game enthusiasts, why not recommend good games for us to try?
