Is it really possible for the rasputitsa to have a debilitating effect on Russian logistics and strategic mobility? Surely in 2022, the road infrastructure in that part of the world is much more highly developed than it was in 1942. Just judging from the video clips that people are sharing here, it looks like all the roads are nicely paved and decently maintained, not like 1942 corduroy roads and mud seas.

Apparently all the "cannot do analogies" brains think it would have been fine if, in response to continued US escalation in Ukraine, Russia had pointed ICBMs at LA and NYC and put them on a timer instead, and ordered us to stop arming Ukraine in order for him to hit the kill switch.

Wait, ICMBs aren't B-52s, so that's completely different!
"Come on, the nuclear warheads available in 1962 are TOTALLY different from the ones used now. Nice try with your false equivalence, chud."

Stop acting like you know more than anyone else here, you don't. Most of use are not jacking it to destroyed military equipment and dead soldier porn. If the braying for blood keeps getting louder, then maybe President Dementia will order some form of military action, so when the EMP hits you (and me), it won't matter what anyone here thinks or says.

Personally I want an end to all combat operations so people can bury their dead and rebuild their lives. And for the US to stay out of it.
I definitely seem to know more than a you who wants to keep telling me the Russians are winning this thing. Biden is a stupid retard but Putin is the guy who fell into a trap made by that stupid retard's masters. All this invasion netted for the Russian people is an excuse for the global hegemony to churn their country into a pariah state similar to North Korea and see more young Europeans die. Putin got lucky getting Crimea for no real loss and didn't realize he should have left with the house's money and groom a decent successor in his old age to take over when he passes. Thanks to that moronic play we also have a renewed vigor and enthusiasm for NATO and the EU.

I'll say this. If I was still in the US military and we were in a war with similar conditions and was privy to the same information I would say we were losing this war. There's very few ways this war will end and none of them will be positive for Russia. Those who are saying the Ukrainians are losing men and material too as a sign of Russian advantage are the same that try to claim the US was victorious in the Vietnam war because we borke more of their stuff than they broke ours.
Ukraine's the size of Texas and it appears that they have lost most of the eastern third of the country and they may have half of their armed forces kettled and forced to surrender, this in less than 2 weeks. How is this a losing scenario? Granted, Russia may very well win the war and lose the peace through the economic destruction brought on by sanctions, but a good strategy for them may be to lean into the global destabilization and promote the formation of an alternative economy, which they're already doing with India and China.

The Arabs are likewise mercenary and would be happy to help Russia circumvent Western sanctions in exchange for a few bucks. The massive sanctions targeting Russia may prove to be a mistake in the same way that Trudeau's freezing of bank accounts was; it's a sign that the Western-dominated financial system is untrustworthy and you can be economically executed if you do something that the Western elite don't like. Like someone else was saying, this is a conflict to decide whether non-US nations have the right to wage war. If the international banks can ruin you at a whim because they don't like how you conduct your foreign policy, it becomes vital to break away from them.

And actual better one is Grenada.

But then, that one isn't very well known.

America abandoned plans to strike at the groups responsible for the Beirut Barracks Bombing, activated 82nd, 101st, 75th, and 1st Cav. Mobilized the Navy, the Air Force, the Marines, the Army. Made amphibious, airborne, and helicopter assaults on Grenada.

They didn't tell anyone why, although the after claims are that the USSR was moving weapons and Cubans and other shit through Grenada.

It even has a major world power fucking up by the numbers.

The fact that we even have this argument is insane to me. Launching invasions against countries that haven't attacked America directly for geostrategic reasons is as American as apple pie and baseball. The "I can't understand why Putin would do this; it's unprecedented!" side of the argument can't seem to rise above, "but we're the good guys, so it's different when we do it!" reasoning.

Russian gopniks embracing the rape mongoloid meme is bizzare to me. It would be like blacks adapting Tyrone from the SHHHEEEEEIIIITTTT comics as a mascot.

The USA was prepared to launch literal nuclear war over Russian missiles in Cuba. Oh, but since global nuclear war isn't exactly the same as a ground-based invasion, that means these two situations differ in a detail, therefore cannot be compared in any way.
That was real? I saw that movie I thought it was bullshit

There's just one thing I want to say when all you young sweet summer children get your papers in the post.

It's up to you, not to heed the call up! You must not act, the way you were brought up!

Maybe you want to see the wheat fields?
Over Kiev and down to the sea...

It's up to you not to heed the call-up
'N' you must not act the way you were brought up
Who knows the reasons why you have grown up?
Who knows the plans or why they were drawn up?
It's up to you not to heed the call-up
I don't want to die!
It's up to you not to hear the call-up
I don't want to kill! For he who will die Is he who will kill
Maybe I want to see the wheat fields
Over Kiev and down to the sea
All the young people down the ages
They gladly marched off to die
Proud city fathers used to watch them
Tears in their eyes
There is a rose that I want to live for
Although, God knows, I may not have met her
There is a dance an' I should be with her
There is a town - unlike any other
It's up to you not to hear the call-up
'N' you must not act the way you were brought up
Who give you work an' why should you do it?
At fifty five minutes past eleven
There is a rose... Yeah!

For he who will die
Is he who will kill

Have I been repeatedly saying the Russians are winning? When? Where?
This is you:
@MG-34 is delusional, take him to the infirmary
His vodka is contaminated, he's taking nonsense
He'll be fine. I've seen worse
Three dead Ukrainians or Russians. Not great, not terrible.
You didn't see a F-15. You didn't, because it's not there

I mean this is you right now.

To the dumb cunts that don't think 'cancelling' Russia is going to be effective coz it's also targeting innocent Russian civilians (Mastercard, VISA, YouTube and whatever else there is): think about it this way - if you suddenly lost access to all this, would you be pissed at the man that caused it?

Reality is, MOST people, these days at least - with the internet would. It has the potential of causing a massive uprising against Putin the longer it's sustained.
>Thinking the people actually matter

lmao that's adorable. But Putin may have some trouble if the oligarchs get pissed off enough about losing their NYC penhouses and luxury yachts, and use the last bit of their absurd wealth to pull a Soros.
