Jamie and Monica are planning on making a podcast painting themselves as victims and telling people about their experiences getting sued for defamation and threats against Vic Mignogna.. oh poor poor Jamie and Moronica… They are such victims..🙄🙄

I can't wait until she spouts off some lie about Vic and gets sued AGAIN. She said she wouldn't talk about it- I highly doubt it. She's smug enough about "winning" her case to keep running her mouth and get herself into trouble. Her face has more wrinkles than her brain.

Hard to find two people more unlikeable than Monica and Jamie.

Valley Girl anything is annoying no matter who speaks it.

Her voice isn't bad if she doesn't affect that accent, but 90% of her roles are like that.
It doesn't help that she's now in her 40s and still acts like that. Honestly, I can see her getting less and less roles as time goes on. Marchi started doing voice work at Funimation specifically in 2002 with Yu Yu Hakusho and Fruits Basket. According to her dox she was 25 then.

Jamie Marchi and Monica Rial aren't going to get any new fans at this point. All their fans are simps/stans who are in their 20s, 30s or even 40s who were fans back when they were constantly working at Funimation in the late 2000s. The younger simps are just going to flock to the newer VAs who are just starting out now in the industry.

The reason Vic's fanbase is still active after all these years is because of how well he treats them consistently and is active at doing so. Jamie and Monica are the exact opposite of that.

I still don't get why anyone would simp for people like Monica or Jamie. Then I realize, there are a bunch of stupid people in this world.

Does anyone else here hate Jamie Marchi's "Valley Girl" voice? She genuinely thinks it's cute, yet I'm like "Please shut the hell up."
Valley girl voice? In all honesty her voice sounds like one of those stereotypical mean girls from a late 90’s to early to mid 2000’s high school movie

I recently found out this bitch voiced Masane in the Witchblade dub (I watched it in moonspeak and have to admit I enjoyed it a lot) and now I'm overwhelmed with morbid curiosity to see how badly she butchered the character, given her rather tragic backstory. Witchblade is pretty old (2006) so I'll readily admit I'm fully out of touch with whether there was any controversy active like GamerGate during that time.

Well, it was dubbed back in 2007. It was very different time for both Funimation and Marchi.

This is an interview with her promoting the series back in the day. It should be noted that it was one of Funimation's oldest videos on their Youtube channel before it was privated.

Watched it dubbed, was fine and tolerable. Helps that it was dubbed before the 2010s.
