General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I'm not referring to the spergy retards that went after her because they're fucking retards. I'm referring to what Rushia (and by consequence Cover for not nipping this shit in the bud before it even started) did in COURTING said spergy fucking retards. Any thot playing into the "Girlfriend Experience" deserves the bullshit that comes with it.
Yeah I agree with that. GFE is sickening, and the reveal that she even sent personal videos to her top superchat donators is quite manipulative and disgusting both. While I believe the spergs who enjoyed it and paid for it are at fault for being deceived and thinking they're special, Rushia is equally at fault for actually doing the fucking courting.
Not to mention many of the leaks I bring up were leaked in fucking November, way before this shit happened. Stuff like how she gave Korekore a Deadman Switch? How a senpai "bullied her" for streaming at the same time? Threatening suicide and claiming she just failed to kill herself? Fucking menhera dramaqueen. I understand why none of the Holos had any real reaction to her being terminated, except Calli.
I just find it very entertaining to look at the timeline of what happened, imagining how shit she must have felt at that time and realizing she made mistake after mistake after mistake until she was terminated, while feeling more and more like shit. It's vindicating in a way.

Yep. All of the holoJP members basically turned their backs to Rushia and essentially no person'd her.

Calli's always worn her heart on her sleeve, so it's pretty unsurprising to see her have such a reaction, but I'm betting once she's had some time to marinate, she'll come to the same conclusion as the rest of her colleagues and turn her back on the artist formerly known as Rushia.

When I first heard about this, I immediately knew something was fucked and something must of come out during Cover's investigation of this, because Japanese companies typically just don't shitcan you without any given reason (especially after showing solidarity and such public support).

I'm guessing we can infer a pattern: managers/talent notice interaction between talents brings engagement > push for more collabs > para-shipping happens > talents burn out and collabs stop

One thing is putting an end to a ship due to burn out and fans being shipping retards - Another entirely is to completely ghost your ex-partner, like Pekora started doing to Miko. It's clear SOMETHING happened between the two of them, and it's also clear that whatever happened, Pekora believes it was on Miko since she's the one that kept ghosting Miko despite Miko continuing to try to reach out to her.

My rrat is that while all JP holos were warned because rushia was possibly a friend or at best just a direct coworker, Calli wasnt warned despite her being in japan, the suprise announcement plus all the plans for the holodeath trio being abandoned because of it jabbed her a bit, ollie just kept being ollie though

If anything Ollie/Calli dodged a bullet for not being that close to the menhera, who knows if she could've dug up info on either for a deadman's switch

Something something Christmas sleepover.

I don't think mikeneko's goals are artistic in nature. She's all about the long hustle, maintaining her highly loyal, highly monetizable cadre of simps.
e: not that there's anything wrong in that, hell if I could milk people for their cash while promising vague notion of affection or esteem I'd do it too.
I think we're beginning to veer to far into a unfavorable impression.

Let's get real and think about this reasonably. I'm sure Rushia genuinely appreciates her audience and is very thankful. And I'm sure she genuinely enjoys streaming and isn't only doing it for money or attention.

Is she incentived by the simps to lean into thing, no doubt. But this is leaning into the idea that she's just doing content for money and nothing we've seen or heard suggests that. Hell she may even legitimately enjoy doing GFE.

What are you on about. Did I something because I know that when Gen 3 made a video about the situation they were all audiobally upset. It feels like we're going all doomposter and making absurd conclusions. Did you guys forget the tweet I shared of Kson showing support?

What got me was that none of the Holo's roommate's twitter accounts were in flames. When Coco was graduating Marine was threatening to quit and was talked out of it by Kanata & Coco, and others were angry as well.
With Rushia, nothing. They didn't even cancel streams or find a timeslot where nobody streamed to announce it. Compare that to Coco's graduation stream where no holo streamed in either a company placed ban or in solidarity to Coco, or because they knew they'd gather at most 20 viewers.
No streams weirdly cancelled either, you'd assume at least some of them would clear out a day to cope.
The one who seem to have taken it the hardest is Kiara.
And the one who was the most publicly upset about it was Calli. Its incredibly telling to me, at least.

Yeah I think this is more or less confirmed. I remember when HoloX was announced all the HoloEN girls were blindsided like "What" "That's so sick". And Kiara talked about first going to the Hololive building before her debut and that some senpais were there but she didn't go say hi, as they didn't even know an English branch were to be opened.
I sadly can't find the clip of that.
For your other two points, I'm pretty confident nothing was really planned around Holodeath. Holodeath was a reaction to Umisea by the girls, with no merchandise backing or anything. They played Minecraft together once then Mario Party 3-4 months ago.
And yeah, they certainly dodged a bullet there. Calli is well, an emptied grave at this point but Ollie has kinda good OpSec despite her persona. Afaik she hasn't been doxxed, Rushia could have found something there for a Deadman's Switch for sure.

From what I know of reading this entire thread and checking leaks, Rushia has tried to make it big as a content creator since she was a young teen. Streaming on NND, posting selfies etc. Just to get a fanbase. So I'm sure you're right in that she genuinely wants to stream and she enjoys it. And I'm certain she's super appreciative of her fans for supporting her, especially after all of this.
But this is Kiwifarms. We discuss here because we don't want to mince our words or coat them. And ultimately, if she's doing it for money then good on her. Money's important. If she also enjoys it while doing it for money, all the power to her.

What do these even mean? Is she really so extra she'd flip it over and have the worst at top and best at bottom? As expected of Sharkie. This is why she's approaching 4 million subscribers.

I have to render it in a lower resolution and compress it later to save space since I forgot to set the parameter. But this it for now, sry for the delay:
Lowered the resolution and fps, now it's alot smaller (with my basic skills in video editing)

Also I saw this on stream. The whale is alive

I'm so happy to hear your voice ꒰* ॢꈍ◡ꈍ ॢ꒱. *I'm crying my eyes out! Oh, my God! Welcome back, Daddy!
Slight correction to the deepL, なでなで means headpats, not daddy. The only reason I know that is Watame.

As for the Rushia stuff. Personally, I'm glad she's doing better, as long as it's not some manic swing. But as far as the other members supposedly not being upset that she's gone. I can imagine that when the news broke out about what she had said/done, they would be upset and might not have cared much about her being terminated. But I'm going to ask a genuine question, who here hasn't talked shit about something their closest friend did/does, to another friend they trusted? She's fucking stupid to trust someone like JP Keemstar, but that's it.

Currently, the wound is still fresh for most members but I'm sure as time passes it'll heal.

I think perspective is important. Remember for Kiara and Calli didn't know this was gonna happen with JP did. The JP people had time to calm down and cope, they found out a day before the public did. While Calli and Kiara found out when we did. Also important to note is that while what happened to Coco was unfair, Rushia wasn't and therefore there won't be the same upset. They would of course the situation different because it's a different situation, hell I presume that they know that this company isn't good for Rushia so they might see a silver lining.

All this is to paint a picture that helps give a reasonable counter to the doomposting. Yes she didn't have as much support as Coco before or after termination, yes she probably damaged or lost friends. But to claim everyone in JP "turned their back on her", which this thread seems to be leaning towards is completely unsubstantiated and easily explainable.

Also keep in mind that she seems to have BPD so her relationships with her friends and colleagues are always going to be rocky to begin with.

Flawed correlation. There's a difference between venting about a friend and venting about your co-workers/company while breaching a NDA and giving a Drama Youtuber a deadman's switch while threatening suicide.

Yeah, you're right in that. There's also the several days long break. Certainly they knew something was up, and Kson has seemingly not abandoned her either.

Thinking on it rationally, she received a message from Mafumafu and rrats went crazy thinking they were dating & living together.
But all she did was receive a message. We've also been told she had/has a crush on Mafumafu and that she previously felt guilt over rrats thinking they lived together because they have similar dishes.
And after what I just learned with OBS, it could have easily been prevented by Rushia if she captured the game instead of the monitor. If I were to conjure up a guess on why she (and Niji) captures monitor and not game is that they have to setup for each individual game they stream, while with monitor recording its just a matter of press live.
It adds half a minute of work at most, but laziness prevails I guess. I'm pretty confident a lot of the streamers do game capture, as they've never been seen alt-tabbing or anything while fixing technical stuff. So she probably felt immense guilt towards the twink she had a crush on.
Couple that with her (now revealed) diagnosis of manic depression and anxiety, then imagine she goes on twitter to egosearch hoping to get a pick me-up but instead sees former fans burning her merchandise on bonfires.
I'll be honest, Rushia is at fault for breaching NDA and Cover did the right thing by sacking her. But her mental state at that point couldn't have been good in the slightest. In the clip she talks as if she was recently diagnosed with manic depression, anxiety and panic attacks.
Which suggests to me she never really went for a proper mental health checkup while working for Cover. No wonder she went to Korekore to clear her name.

Probably never if its that long ago. I feel like Vshoujo is more likely to adopt talent from less successful corpos or indies. Like I wouldn't be surprised if the trash panda joins them eventually. Or Artemis.

Hey, maybe here's the new vshojo girls?
Did you just casually forget about the part where she decided her best course of action is to contact a Japanese Drama channel instead of listening to her manager and just waiting until Monday?

Shark skipped Rushia & Coco on her list
Sharks don't like dead prey?
Roboco is the patrician choice for tasty secret.

Haachama should be "spicy" because she does hot noodle torture streams and she can't pronounce it.

supashi
Roboco got in forbidden because of the metal parts, and haachama got in funky because she'd supposedly has bugs and stuff on her.
What do these even mean? Is she really so extra she'd flip it over and have the worst at top and best at bottom? As expected of Sharkie. This is why she's approaching 4 million subscribers.
There's no "bad" tier in the list, so no worst or best.

Notable mentions:
- She imagines Polka makes a squeaky noise when walking (like spongebob)
- Lamy got immediately called "Fermented" by her and chat, because alcoholic, of course. Marine too.
- Chat wanted to put Chloe on funky because we all know she bathes once a week. Gura thought she was referring to only washing her hair once a week tho.

I'll update the original post and this one when the list is complete.

EDIT:

-had a tough time with placing Kronii, Calli and Ame
-chat put her in funky because "she is stinky" and "wash your hood gura"
-Kiara got moved from umami from spicy at the last moment.
-Chat got classified as all tiers.

i just want to add that rather than using speculate 'all JP members just turned their back on Rushia'

using that as a reference,
TL; DW: Japanese being Japanese, when seeing someone mostly Japanese. they tend to look away not trying to be involved with someone else problem to save their own asses. except when it comes to the tourist they might start to help due to the feeling of trying to treat a 'special guest' in their country. it even shows japan being on 107th rank out of 114th country in term country who likely "donating money to charity"

that's why when the menhera itself tweet about thanking Kson, I think it Kson having outsider minded or being a normal person, in general, try to help Rushia, since she doesn't have Japanese mentality, and HoloEN member like Calli, or Kiara show their emotion due to this because they didn't think like the Japanese who doesn't want to involve.
