It doesn't surprise me at all that a 14 year old boy with a feminist nutjob for a mother is going to have a blow out at some point. Feminism is rife with women who had abusive fathers when they were children, and I'm sure that most MRAs get their start in the exact same way.

They seem to think nature is pure and wholesome. If they weren't so delusional, then they would see that nature can be just as cruel and ugly as human civilization. Nothing is pure one way or the other.

Laurie Penny doesn't believe a word of her own tripe. She just wants to bait others for clicks. Back at the end of 2014, she called herself a "feminist" so she could engage in some good old-fashioned nerd shaming. She still doesn't have any rebuttal to criticism besides calling people naughty names.

Feminism, however, is not to blame for making life hell for “shy, nerdy men”. Patriarchy is to blame for that. It is a real shame that Aaronson picked up Andrea Dworkin rather than any of the many feminist theorists and writers who manage to combine raw rage with refusal to resort to sexual shame as an instructive tool. Weaponised shame – male, female or other – has no place in any feminism I subscribe to.
