The Russians in that game managed to get all the FUCKING way to Paris and blow up that Eiffel Tower lol.

So trying to figure this out, the Russians tricked one satellite.

Russia is also angry after a bunch of slavshits got wasted in a glow op gone bad and decided to attack the United States knowing that Uncle Sam will just activate MAD and unleash hell back to them.

And they managed to overrun Europe and get all the way undetected to the Eastern Seaboard at the same time.

And having manpower equivalent to the Soviet Union since these are giant landmasses.

If the Ruskies tried to overrun Europe, it would have alerted America to the seas and ...

I am just overthinking their retardation and MW3 makes everything even more retarded.

What is even more retarded or probably reasonably likely, MAD never happens even though ideally MAD is keeping Russia away from us and we from them.

The Army tried to teach me how to group think and I was terrible at it. It's why I did not go career. I still fly my American flag on my porch, that I took to Iraq and every night the last thing I see is the eyes of a man my stupid kid self sent to camp cropper because I totally had two separate pieces of paper to justify it.

The army taught me to never trust the consensus. It also taught me how people with power viewed those without it.

That has a fair bit to do with it, but a lot of it stems from them knowing how western media would play it.

M.A.D speculation could be an entire thread in itself. How likely and how viable it would be in practice. Russians shooting off the bulk of their soviet era missiles and them being all operational and precise combined with air defense fleets that could probably shoot most of them down. Who the fuck knows, in any case its not worth gambling on for anyone. I do understand they have air carriers and nuclear subs too.
