I fully expect Brandon Eich to be kicked out of his own company once again for similar reasons he got the boot from Firefox. I likely won't be using Brave after the next payout.

While the violence continued, it would take another few weeks for his story to go mainstream. It’s now mid-March, and as numerous Asian women are killed in a shooting rampage, the headlines have yet to bring attention to Asians nor the racist motivations of these unfortunate events. Omission of this detail is another reflection of how the media is catering toward their predominantly white audience. Even when we’re being blatantly targeted, we’re invisible to the world.

Doesn't work on Chromium either, which Brave is based on. As far as I'm aware only Firefox have bothered to add that functionality, since it's not native like on Windows.

It affects the people who work on Brave and gives them reasons to push people out or away and may possibly extend to behavior outside of coding Brave.

Also, you can disable tab groups in the settings.
Settings > Appearance > Enable Tab Groups > Off
