My guess it's because they view everyone else that has that understanding and that try to make those connections as endearing, nice and appreciate the effort and understanding buts it's nothing new to them. However when it's Ame it's more like woah wtf is she doing over there that's amazing how does she think of these ideas. It's always something new, at least to them.

That's why boys if you ever go to Japan don't be a fucking weeb trying to impress anyone with your knowledge of Japan and it's culture. They know they live there. Be respectful of the culture but don't forget about your own. You are much more interesting to them when you don't talk about all the shit they already know.

I understand what you're getting at, but trying to pinpoint an explanation for anyone's behavior runs into the territory of rationalizing to reach a conclusion, instead of taking the events as is. You could say that Rushia's pattern of behavior resembles an abuse victim, in that she's overtly clingy to anyone who shows her any kind of affection and has a clear fear of abandonment, but that's based on nothing but correlation. It makes sense in a sad, neat narrative sort of way, but it's ultimately fanfiction.

I don't really take much joy in watching someone I was a fan of destroy themselves like this, but she made her bed and now she has to lie in it. Doing the mental gymnastics to figure out why she flipped out isn't going to change the fact she flipped out.

unless you're some flavor of Caucasion and can speak Japanese. Seems like the Japanese lose their minds over that. Bonus points if you are in the category of very nihongo jouzu, blows their mind whenever a white boi can speak moonrunes. Japanese are more than happy to have you explore their culture.

I think thats true for any country though. Spanish chicks went wild when they heard Drake, JB, and the Weeknd speak spanish. Even the JP were amazed hearing bad bunny sing jp lyrics. I've seen the Chinese in absolute awe of my friend speaking mandarin to them and he was black af.

But yeah basically if you're white then you're playing on easy mode when you visit. Only euro brown (really just tanned) like the Spainards, Italians, and Portuguese are given a pass.

On topic to the thread I really hope Irys and Bae don't get shipped to hell were they decide to distant themselves like we've seen in previous duos.

Chinese, Korean, Tibetan, Mongol, 2nd gen any yellow/orange variation. Shit, I know some people from -stan countries that were in Japan the last time I was in country and they looked Asian enough because of generations of some member being East Asian, absolute disdain whenever any Nip had to deal with em. You could literally take the entire Asia continent and the Japanese would have some kind of disdain for you.
