Someone on twitter posted an analysis of the current situation from a leaked FSB letter then overlaid their own meta analysis on top of it. Take this with a shaker of salt but I thought it was interesting.

If he gets captured and sentenced to death (Zelenskyy) it would just make him a hero in the eyes of the west. Regardless of if you like him or not because he is playing on the wrong team if he is indeed stationed in Kyiv (Kiev don't want to offend anyone) it's a bad ass way to go.

Been like that for a long time. As I remember, you had Frontal Aviation, PVO-Strany (air defense interceptors to protect the homeland), Long-Range Aviation (strategic bombers), and your transports/trainers/helicopters/etc. The Air Force flies nearly all the choppers, with the Navy flying a few, but no attack choppers.

Did some digging re the Russian Air Force and Naval Aviation. Also looked up the USAF, US Army Aviation, USN Aviation, and USMC Aviation.

If Russia could kill Zelenskyy they would. The man did the unforgivable and did not run away with a suitcase full of money. Now thousands of Russians are dying while killing thousands of other Russians who happened to be on the other side of a border.

This is playing out like a war between the USA and Canada. The first few days being total shock. By the third week? The babushkas are demanding the ground spit out putins corpse.

I think the video that hit me hardest was of the chechen woman in Odessa making fire bombs. Al jazeeras reporter asked her why she was doing it. "When I was a girl, Russia tanks came to my home and I ran. I ran to donestk. And then the Russian tanks came again. So I ran here. I am tired. I am old. I cannot run anymore. So I make fire bombs."

He’s already going down as a hero at this point for practically going “fuck you” to the supposed 2nd strongest army on earth, which is now outstandingly stalled and having their own convoys shot up, tanks destroyed by literal civilians with RPGs, and an autistic need to keep sending paratroopers who immediately get gunned down.

I'll reiterate this now that people are talking about right side and wrong side. Both sides are terrible and truely taking a side is stupid.

Russia in this case fucking sucks, they're causing thousands of civilians to die because they're bombing civilian buildings, apartments, villages with little to no military value or personnel, is going to cause probably the worst urban warfare since World War 2 when they directly invade Kyiv. If Russia just said fuck it we're enforcing the Minsk agreements, I'll be fine with them. But they're going for the whole country most likely, and tens of thousands of people are going to die because the guy in charge thinks Ukrainians are literally fucking Russians with a different label so they should be apart of Russia, and worst of all he's going to probably get STALKER 2 cancelled.

Ukraine on the other hand is a defacto Western puppet state, one that had many chances to just end the Donbass war by giving the Russian puppets the land they wanted on the agreement they fuck off. 8 years of this shit culminated to this, and Zelenskyy was supposed to end this, he campaigned on ending this before it got truely ugly. But when he came into office the puppetters reigned him in, and it culminated in this, and now he's having half of Ukraine go Volkssturm instead of quickly sitting down at the table and cave to Putin's demands which probably started out as "No NATO, Demilitarization, and recongize Crimea as Russia and the breakaway states as independent countries". But now that Kyiv is almost encircled Putin's going for the whole pie.

I hate these two governments, Putin isn't some based guy trying to stop Globohomo, he just wants his own blend of it, and he's going to make the civilians of Russia's lives hell now that the West has universally sancationed their ass off, their economy in one or two years is gonna make 1998's look decent in comparison. I hate Ukraine because it's a Western puppet state and Zelenskyy is a guy probably having a mental breakdown and can't muster up the courage to cut off his stings and do the right thing to end the suffering, the bloodshed, and the livelihoods being destroyed.
