He's russian kalmyk. There are many asian etnicities in Russia.
The multitude of ethnicities in Russia is why it's constantly laughable whenever I hear people defend Russian aggression with the excuses that nations should be carved up along ethnic lines or that the Russians are all saviors of the white race.
Firstly if any nation is to be carved up because of foreign ethnicities it's definitely Russia. Secondly it's absurd seeing white supremacists online defend the Russians throwing asiatic hordes at a nation far whiter than Russia.

Are the Ukies different or is it just the same with extra y?.
I only know that they use the letter "i" instead of "и" despite having a Cyrillic alphabet, but they also have a regular "и" and I don't know when one is used instead of the other. I never considered if they have special keyboards, but if they don't, changing your language everytime for a single letter must be a pain in the ass.
...
I actually looked it up, and they have an "i" that's different from an English "i" and it's placed along with "ы" on a regular Cyrillic keyboard, and that have a forward facing "э", with the regular one too. Never seen a keyboard with 3 letters instead of 2, so no idea how they switch between them.

Are you older than me? PM me a government-issued ID because I'm not so sure.
Social media is my thought too. If it's that simple then social media needs to be eradicated... That said maybe people saw such lunacy pre-social media. I know there are some famous moments of similar lunacy particularly in the US Civil Rights era but those seem relatively rare.
Of course there was crazy shit, people's optics on it are just exaggerated from social media

The man captured in Kharkiv in this video claims to be the Deputy Commander for the "47th Composite Guards Air Regiment" and a light colonel. In the video he is calling his wife. His captors tell her he will be unharmed if she protests the war in Ukraine. at the end he claims his squadron of Su-34s is only 50% flight capable. I wouldn't trust it as he may be trying to deceive the Ukrainian military though that would explain the Su-30 that was pressed into a CAS role and shot down over the weekend.

I highly doubt the Ukranian figures of Russian fighter jets shot down. Serbia inflated its ratio by about 8x, I think Ukraine isn't that far off. There are very few pictures of shot-down jets and many that have been used, like the one in the lake, were Ukranian.

SU 34 is the equivalent of a F15 so ground attack role is completely normal. The Russians have hordes of SU 25s to use in CAS so if SU 34's join in its not because there is a lack of them.

The three reasons you mentioned are fucking retarded. The reason some folks are concerned is the idea of russia getting pushed into a corner. Or the idea some escalation will happen, NFZ over ukraine, some NATO dude will get shot down, and shit will spin up from there. Any NATO forces getting involved will make this much more tense.
Not much of a chance, but shit is concerning. Calling Putin's bluff on ukraine didn't work so well.
"Pushed into a corner", ive heard this one too. What the fuck does it mean though?
Does it mean Russia will have no other alternative than to commit suicide via atomic war? H O W ?
Please describe a scenario where the attacker, Russia is forced to use atomic weapons. They cant be used to conquer cities, only to destroy them, they cant be used to attack armies because they're too spread out, they cant be used at all past very specific scenarios because they're goddamn FIRST STRIKE WEAPONS.
So what, would their economy become so shit due to sanctions that they would be forced to warm their houses with atomic blasts?

What the actual fuck do people mean when they say Russia will be "forced to" launch nukes? Because it seems to me like just another buzzword bullshit phrase that means absolutely jacks fucking shit.

People are afraid that the Russian leadership is viewing this as the last attempt at preserving national sovereignty, and that Putin goes crazy if he fears losing power because of sanctions and decides to destroy the world rather than lose power.

Some people fear escalation and that NATO troops on Russian soil will trigger nuclear war, this becomes tricky as many Russians view Ukraine as Russian soil

F15-E and only in the loosest possible way in that they fill the same sort of role while being vastly inferior to the American aircraft.

Nah, Su 34 isn't inferior to the F15. It's the Russians catching up to the Americans, 10 years later. But let's not start sperging. Yeah the E variant comes the closest. The Su 27 is the F15 and F15E is Su 34 but thats sperging already.

We don't know, since Putin doesn't seem to be making rational decisions at this point. They're fucked either way, and at some point they may think that it's "to be or not to be" and escalate the conflict even further. Because what the fuck is the "denazification" even supposed to be?

In other words the only logical scenarios in which nukes are launched all include parties not acting logically, acting CrAzY.

That's very melodramatic, which is my point. Please stop spreading those unwarranted fears least they become reality through your sheer collective will.

The interesting thing here is that they're transporting them by civilian cars. But considering the defensive (and chaotic) nature of this war, that's understandable
A lot of Central Asian migrants with dodgy papers and often ignorant of their rights, some pidgin Russian, squatting to save energy, and smoking a scrounged cigarette have been pushed into the Russian army and its federates in Donbass and Lugansk. It's sad, altho if they wish to be Russians, it might be their war. They deserve capture less than the paramilitary police goons now serving in Russian ranks whose previous experience was thumping scrawny students.
I read somewhere that one of the way Russia might try to replenish their reserves, outside of the draft, is by using central asian migrants by offering them citizenship

I think this checks out. The Wikipedia page for SU-34 listed a "47th Bomber Aviation Regiment" as an operator. Then I found this website (archive) that listed a "47th Independent Composite Aviation Regiment" that used SU-34. Both sites mentioned they're stationed on Baltimor Air Base, Voronezh Oblast
Yeah, most likely (ex) military but still looking to score points on social media.

Another example: here is the fb account of the drone guy who filmed the helicopter that got shot down.

(The translation to English isn't 100% accurate) he identifies the guy who shot down the heli is in the middle of this pic:

"This is in the center of the same Valery "Gruzd", who today shot down a Russian combat helicopter. My video in my previous post has been hit by tens of millions of people around the world.
been at war since 2014. Slavetna 72 Brigade of Black Zaporozhye citizens.
We organized him our reward - which he asked for: coffee and cigarettes. He says he has not been drinking vodka since September 1, 1988.
The second photo is the fighters of the OUN battalion, together with which Gruzd is now so spectacularly beating the enemy.
The bloom of the nation!"

Both are now heroes in Ukraine and imo now also targets by the Russians.

The translation basically saying the guy in the middle is the Valery "Gruzd". He fought there since 2014, 72th Zaporozhye Black Brigade (?). He only asked for coffe and cigarettes as reward (?), Hasn't drink Vodka since 1988. The second pic is him with the fighters of OUN Battalion
