Russia published its list of demands. According to the Kremlin, accepting them will mean an immediate withdrawal of all troops and the immediate end of the "military operation".

1. Renounce claim on Crimea and accept it is now Russian
2. Accept the independence of LNR and DNR
3. Change the constitution to enshrine the country's non-participation in any military alliance.

They also pointed out Ukrainean government is not effectively in control of their own country that is effectively being ran by "radical movements".
According to the TASS (can't archive for whatever reason), they're "currently demilitarizing" Ukraine, they also dropped the "denazification" angle (weirldy enough) and the last part is actually non-participation in any alliance period, not just a military alliance. Note that this is grossly MTL'd - "They must amend their constitution, according to which Ukraine will reject any goal to enter any block."
I guess Russia is estabilishing the off-ramp by saying that one of their demands has been achieved by them already or something.

Apparently so, make it as difficult to advance and time consuming as possible to make it not worth to continue.
But this would be praying on Putin not snapping and saying "enough is enough" and getting everything bombarded to hell civilians and infrastructure be dammed
It's a likely outcome but I do think all the SAM's that are down make the Kremlin weary about losing too many aircraft. If I was a Russian Pilot I would be nervous about all the downed aircraft that happened the last couple of days.

Here's a close up of Next Gen Russian ERA upgrades. Just don't put it in your dishwasher.

I'm gonna go with occam's razor on that one. I really doubt a Ukrainian thinks to swap out a seat with an ammo crate for propaganda. There's also the countless trucks wondering the roads and getting picked off by Ukr militias and being laden with supplies that are haphazard and non sensical. And the several examples where Russian vehicles are found with MREs expired from years ago. I doubt the CIA planted expired Russian rations before the invasion for such a false flag. Russian logistics is losing this war.
Man, in Syria, an entire town orchestrated through a conspiracy of silence a fake chemical attack. Now there were several real ones (probably). But at least one was fake, we know that now.

This is 20% of Russias total strength involved. More than half of it was involved in recent exercises right on the border. Someone took out the seat and put on an ammo box the same way several shootdowns and convoys filmed have been actual Ukranian ones, labeled Russian.
Expired MRE's, I don't know, that might be more realistic as it's something that you need to constantly change. A seat is not.

I used to think this was a possibility but I'm not sure anymore. The state of the Russian airforce is apparently pretty bad right now. I get the sense that the AA capabilities of the Ukrainians have given them real gear fear since sanctions are going to significantly impede their ability to replace aircraft the Ukrainians down with stingers of peace.
Well I haven't seen a single Tu-160 shot down. Actually I haven't seen one deployed at all...

They can go up to about 12km which AFAIK is out of AA range.

Actually more reasonable than the various BLM demands tbh

It is nice to see those video's without a horde of goat lovers screaming "allahu akhbar" at everything for a change, just a lot of Cyrillic swearing at the end of the happenings. Video 2 and 3 should be posted on those volunteer reddits so they bring some protective head gear.

yeah why can't a complete disaster like Russia manage to solve a universal problem that not a single other group of people has been able to solve?

birth rates are cratering everywhere, Russians are even less likely to solve this problem than the Japanese
Well war isn't going to help. Cracking down on porn was a good move, but making Russia even more depressive was a bold strategy. I've got some ideas, but apparently neither the capitalists or socialists likes promoting women returning to being housewives and making abortion illegal

They could fix it immediately, but it would require pretty much entirely undoing shartmartcracy. There are two types of modern societies which don't have a problem with low birth rates. Nigger societies that just fuck everything that moves and don't worry about popping out too many kids, and societies that still have some form of arranged marriage.

au contraire

war is one of the only things that could potentially help by restricting access to contraception and abortion

it's funny how people think that criminalizing abortion would change anything. cocaine is illegal too but I can get some.

I have been pondering the absence of the strategic bombers too. There must be some reason, are their pilots multirole so all sat in the SUs? Are they short on parts/weaponry for them? Are they concerned of the possibility of one being brought down? Are they all currently armed with nukes given the heightened deterrent level?

Apparently there is a document floating around, and plans to unblock a certain torrent site.

This is the classic pro-piracy argument, someone who can't or wouldn't buy your software/movies/music is not damaging your business by pirating lol

Oh shit, Russia is going to be a Country of Pirates?

Now I am ready to pick a side!
