There's only 36 iirc including the test models. They don't carry a very large payload and I don't know about the cost of operating them.

So probably active but not enough firepower in absolute terms to turn the tide.

Much like anyone who says we should get involved should have to sign up anyone saying higher everything prices are a good thing should be required to subsidise everyone else's energy bills.

not sure how much you've been paying attention, but so far into this war the Ukranians aren't exactly what you would call 'at the mercy' of the russians. and that's with a clearly unprepared military on their own side, considering they have to do essentially conscription - if they actually invested into a military that is two or three times their current (and I have little doubt NATO countries would be all too happy to foot the bill), it's safe to say that if Russia tried anything short of nuclear (which could draw in NATO one way or another), they would not get even remotely as far into the country as they have now.

black people stop having kids just like everyone else when they get access to contraception. People in Africa with high birth rates don't have access to contraception.

arranged marriage societies have low birth rates exactly like societies where people meet on tinder, if those women have access to contraception.

it's universally true and there is no cultural factor that makes a difference *except kind of a little bit* if you can buy a nice house at a reasonably early age and get away from your parents. nothing else matters, promiscuity, female professional choices, childcare, arranged marriage, none of it. Just look at the TFR rates per country.

How many is too many though? Russia has 1000+ military planes, Ukraine claims to have destoyed 46 up to this point.

Like the threads header I believe everyone involved is lying. The thing that I can't fathom is why this is upsetting you so much, you can hate Russia and the TPTB at the same time so no need to pick sides. As far as TPTB using this as an excuse to crackdown even further just remember they had always planned to do so anyway. If you think some posters are sucking putins dick, just ignore them or state your piece and move on.

They still have a load of tu95s knocking around though which we still apparently haven't seen out send about.

Russia is a net exporter of food, they won't be starving. Countries in the middle east and Africa OTOH. The downstream effects from the burger spergout are going to be lit. Arabs and Africans are not known for their impulse control at the best of times.

Anyway there was no blitzkrieg. Russia is still refraining from using it's air force to it's full extent, which means that a) they don't think they need to as they can achieve victory with ground forces and b) they want to preserve Ukrainian infrastructure, they don't want to rule over a wasteland. The lack of a Russian air war over Ukraine should be a wake up call for those paying attention, Russia intends to no shit annex a big chunk of territory. Their fall back position will be agreeing to Ukrainian neutrality and permanent exclusion from the west. The two sides are so far apart that a negotiated peace is impossible. This thing will be settled the old fashioned way which means Russia will win.

Ukraine is clearly winning, We see some concessions on this peace deal, but I do not think the Ukrainians will go for it because no NATO. It sucks more civilians will have to die for it but if it means they have a good and honest shot at winning this war this would mean the Russians would be shelved in terms of meaningful expansion in the distant future. While Ukraine can remain an Independent nation with a new and proud history and victory day.

There's bags but various sources say different things about them. According to your link they're supposed to be full of the "same stuff in the ERA bricks" but they aren't, are they? Others say that they are supposed to have sand, like self-appointed experts in Reddit.

What ever it is, clearly every tank commander would have checked it beforehand. It's not , as you preface it to be, some ploy by the Russian high command to trick Russian tankers that they have Explosive reactive armor on their skids.


I can't find a single credible source on this stuff. The triangles aren't even properly stacked, as one would expect, if they offered any protection (in the other direction). And if you just wanted fluff then you''d fill it with sand. Again, bullshit or we don't know what its used for.
