Let's look at that unbacked U.S. dollar for context.

Someone just drove a truck of peace into the Russian embassy in Ireland, they destroyed the gate but no one was hurt and one man was arrested. Bugmen cheer on.

A screenshot was posted a while back of someone saying all this recent anti Russian propaganda made them understand how ordinary citizens can be convinced to participate in genocides, and I'm feeling that more and more every day. Attacking an embassy is lunacy, it could be considered an act of war and all people can think when they see it is lololol Russians bad. I get why so many directionless dipshits ended up joining ISIS now, it really doesn't take much or very long to radicalise people to the point where attacking a foreign nation and its people seems like a fun idea.
These Twitter faggots should be sent to the front lines. One thing I genuinely can’t stand is soft little bitches living in nanny states where people aren’t allowed to even hurt their feelings acting tough.

I could have posted the Twitter / RTÉ AIDS, but the RT article I posted a page or two back was enough. I don't want NPC AIDS.

Is it just me or is the Ukraininan support tapering off a little lately? It's as though the hot new thing has slowly lost its shine and people aren't that concerned about it following the knowledge that Ukraine probably won't win.

I'm half tempted to switch sides to root on Ukraine because the most entertaining stance will always be the one with the most drama!
It kinda did. I followed a lot of “news accounts” that are now silent and/or deleted.
Curiously, a lot of pro Putin people are starting to pop up all over Facebook. A lot of them are right wingers who like him because “strongman” and “globohomo”.

How many times has Zelensky said, "This might be the last time you me alive"?

My grandma told me the same damn thing every Sunday between 1987 and 2007. I think Zelensky just wants us to call and visit more.

California has oil?
Cali has lots of oil but they've been gradually choking the life out of the industry over decades because it's bad for the environment (a billion Guatemalans and Pajeets, otoh, are good for the environment).

proxy proxy proxy
When america and Russia were having a proxy war in Iraq were you also considering them suddenly nuking each other instead of Iraq?
You asked for a hypothetical situation in which Russia would use nukes
Yes, a plausible one.
Do you really think Russia throwing nukes at america is more probable then shooting Ukraine right now? Seriously?
what, is Russia suddenly going to just drop all pretenses, forget about Ukraine, forget about NATO and go shoot america instead?
Fren, this is retarded.

China will own the whole world. It is inevitable.
Not Inevitable, china's economy is basically all lies and they lack the natural resources of america. Everything from population count and growth to the true scale of their economy is inflated. And it's going to bite them in the ass hard when their economy enters a depression or stagnation due to the one child policy. We'll pretty much see a repeat of Japan but much worse because Japan was thoroughly fully modernized and industrialized when it happened so they could shift their economy to this weird low growth/no growth economy (Which should be suicide in a growth driven capitalist economy) China can't do that, there will be a heavy cry from their people to continue to uplift their less urbanized cities but china would have to do it at the prospect of no growth in their economy. Like some kind of hyper Keynesian economy.

Roughly twelve days later and I gotta say that I'm genuinely surprised by how poorly documented this war has been. You would have thought that a war that has gained such proportion on mass media and it's happening during a moment in history where any citizen with a phone can play journalist would be considerably more documented. The official coverage is plainly propaganda and the unofficial coverage has been strangely absent.

I don't say this out of some sadistic interest --but really, this war has become, intentionally or not, a historical event exemplifying the [economical] shortcomings of globalism on a large scale. The outcome of this war will evidently change geopolitical hegemony in a fundamental way. It's just unfortunate that one has such a hard time being informed of it all.
If there was any doubt about the puppet state being a puppet state for Western ideologues this sure helped clear it out.
When all is said and done, Euros and South Americans are gonna be hurting for cash due to the hyperinflation on gas and oil prices. The tech sector was already suffering from supply shortages and those economic sanctions sure won't help any matters. Who knows? We might see a Great Depression on the horizon.

Silver lining for the accelerationists at least.
If those videos are proof of anything is that war is in fact fake and gay.

2022 should be an eye-opening year to anyone who has ever doubted the idea that most people are utterly ignorant and easily manipulated. The populace is cattle for elites --they can easily manufacture "public" opinion and sway the sea of people into any direction that is convenient for the elites. There is no "hope in the proles" when the proles are the first ones to cheer on the state-mandated two-minutes-hate.

China can only survive with foreign money coming in. Even then, it's held together with corn cobs and papier-mache.

On top of that, its population is going to implode in the next few generations.

Don't be stupid; China is a threat, but they are not invincible. Their system incentivizes corruption more than ours.

Just like they kicked in afganistan’s teeth
The United States' biggest problem is that they insist on following rules even though nobody thinks they are the good guys and everyone knows they are liars. Afghanistan should be a smoking crater devoid of life and the United States could have accomplished that in about a month if they wanted to. The world would be a better place if America actually used the power it had rather than kowtow to the sensibilities of citizens and nations that make no bones about how much they hate the United States.

Ok, but at this point, why would any Russian be looking to trade for dollars?

They used to do it in fear of their own government seizing assets. Now every major Western government has seized Russian assets.

Whether they want to or not, Russia may be about to experiment with a semi-closed economy. Exchange rates (outside of yuan/rupee/gold/oil) may become irrelevant for them.
