Yeah, there is no way in hell Boogie is even breaking even with his current viewership let alone "saving money". Boogie finally decides to stop being a good guy. After being called for years manipulator (wonder why he was called that for years) he wants to try it once.

Hasn't he done this before? I'm pretty sure he's said a few times before "Well since they all say I'm X I guess I might as well just lean into it and be X." to justify doing something either shitty or stupid.

I'm positive he's done this before. Almost positive he's said the exact "Since they've been saying I'm a manipulator I thought I might as well manipulate this one time" multiple times, too, like he thinks he's in some anime. No he didn't, he said he was visiting friends and only seriously set his sights on you when you had a meltdown over his Twiiter post. Boogie also claims it was the prosecutors who didn't want to go to trial because they would've lost. If you were going to win why wouldn't you take it to trial? Because you know you would've lost.
Kind of minor but Boogie says it was Frank's fans who warned him about Frank and that's how they first came into contact. On the Floor 26 podcast Frank admits it was him pretending to be his own fans to warn Boogie about Frank and bait him into engaging. Just thought was funny how Frank had full control of the situation even from the outset.

Exactly, he keeps saying he's running a business, but businesses typically turn a profit.

A business manages finances so there's a return in the services provided. For Boogie it's all expense. His $9 profit from selling 10 shirts isn't going to mean much.

On a serious note, I really think his liver may be failing. His delusions, bizarre behaviour, and lack of memory are signs that toxins aren't being filtered. It's similar to an alcoholic with end stage cirrhosis.

Who knows what his diet and his dependency on benzos are doing to him. His legal troubles have ended, but his health is entering the end game.
