Read their announcement. They are being made to PAY for the F16's while giving away the MIG's for free.

Apparently it's their idea. I'm thinking they are hoping for a discount with them being used and for being good boys helping with America's agenda. Maybe get a deal on parts too so it's cheaper to maintain than the migs.

In summary the map is claiming a complete encirclement, which would be the beginning of the end for effective ukrainian resistance. If I were a diplomat I'd be slapping that on the table like a rare ribeye with mashed taters, order's up, here's your check.

...if the map is accurate, of course.

Well this is interesting, going by Google of the Rubles worth, it appears to be literally perfectly stable over the coarse of the week, going by the daily report.

Here's what's going on, Google judges the daily value of the currency by judging it at 1:30PM UTC, and check how the graph contently spikes to give the Ruble a value of 0.01 USD, before immediately plummeting back down to it's original value, around 20% value difference at the moment.

IIRC, Poland was supposed to get deals concerning manufacturing of spare parts etc - the so-called offset, when we chose F-16 (other options were Mirage and Grippen). Guess what, none of it ever happened.

Big EDIT: According to Polish MoD, Lockheed-Martin did the job worth 6 billion $ and got it done by 2015.

But paying for the old F-16 is pretty consistent with the policy of the government - they loved Trump, weren't too fond of Biden because of LGBTQWERTY stuff, but now we are needed and we'll gladly be the 'Eastern Flank of NATO' (I swear to God, all Polish & other politicians referring to their countries in this way should be severely criticized in Minecraft.)
