A Kentucky -based virtual sex education summer camp taught young attendees how to masturbate, obtain an abortion, and have sex while on drugs.
The "Sexy Sex Ed" camp was a virtual camp based out of Hazard, Kentucky, that took place in the summer of 2021. The organizers have been operating sex education workshops for children since 2012, according to their website.

The camp first gained attention on Twitter Tuesday after the account Libs of Tik Tok and Manhattan Institute scholar Christopher Rufo shared information about the camp, including details about the camp curriculum, which included a workshop on masturbation in which "participants ... learn techniques to make the most of their masturbation experience."

According to its website, "Sexy Sex Ed is a workshop series that compels teenagers and people of all ages to openly discuss personal and political consent, sexual safety, and anatomy." The age ranges for the 2021 camp were not listed on the website, and it is not known if the camp will be held again in 2022.

"Using visual & performance art, open dialogue, and popular education methods, Sexy Sex Ed fills a vital gap in reproductive education as a creative, cultural healing solution in rural Appalachia," the website says.

From July 6 to Aug. 26 of 2021, the workshop expanded to a virtual summer camp that charged attendees up to $500. Among the sessions of the camp were "The Three P's: Pee, Poop, and Pleasure," "Sex on Drugs," and "Over-sexualization and Policing of Blackness."

The lesson plan for the "Sex on Drugs" day said the workshop "will explore the nuances of engaging in sexual activity while using licit and illicit drugs."

"Together, we will explore why people engage in sexual activity while on drugs; the nuances of substance use and consent; and harm reduction strategies around having sex on substances," the course plan says.

Sexy Sex Ed was founded by Tanya Turner, who describes herself as "a femme, fat, queer, magical pleasure worker, educator, and artist," according to a biography that was on Sexy Sex Ed's website.

Headshots and biographies of Turner and the other "educators" with Sexy Sex Ed were available on the website early in the afternoon on Tuesdaybut were taken down sometime after 1:30 p.m. EST as tweets by Rufo highlighting the camp's activities went viral.

Sexy Sex Ed did not respond to a request for comment.

The workshops put on by Sexy Sex Ed have been profiled by CNN, among other news outlets.

I thought Kentucky was based.
There's something environmental that really does a number on them. You approach normalcy in the flatter areas/Louisville but you see many tertiary effects from proximity to the hollers. There's something not right with their hill people. It's less wholesome bumpkins and more like Deliverance. Add in crippling poverty since mining, already crippling work, is collapsing compared to what it once was. I am steeped in my knowledge and understanding of white trash and even I cannot comprehend the true depths of fucked up the people of Kentucky have plumbed.

"REEEE!! Somewhere, someone is holding a sex workshop in the woods." This is obvious outrage-baiting.
Sex-ed is fine, but these women are taking it a bit too far by condoning drug use, pre-teen masturbation, and abortions. Makes them sound like weird groomers.

Also checking out pictures of their workshop there's a suspicious absence of men and they keep having kids that are trans pop up. So it's a fairly goofy assortment of far leftists carrying on about consent insanity, promoting young girls going trans, and of course pushing abortions while even denouncing men drinking their breast milk.
What do these workshops look like? It varies from workshop to workshop. “I went to one drop-in center, and there were like fifteen kids, half of whom were trans, and I watched them come into this trainer and have therapy time and play video games after school. And that was one of the wildest ones I’ve ever done. We had an impromptu dick drawing contest. When you let kids be themselves, you can actually get really far with it. They’ll tell you what they need.”

What a shame. I'm a fan of wholesome bumpkins.

For some good hillbillies I've always been partial to the parts of Blue Ridge and Appalachia where Georgia and North Carolina meet. Very nice and welcoming people, every visit there has been a delight. Some of the most beautiful scenery on the planet too in my opinion. Although I've been hearing news lately that the liberal Mecca that is Asheville, NC has begun to create a very active "recovery community" in the area. While handling addiction is admirable, my experiences with those that make a community about it has left me with a negative opinion. Nowhere is wholly immune to shitheads.
