I've enjoyed Metokur's content for a few years now. I'm not an easy person to make laugh audibly, but Jim has been one of the very few who can consistently get a laugh out of me. While he may be a nihilist who doesn't give a shit about much, there have been a few times where the subject he was covering thoroughly disgusted him or drove him to righteous indignation, like when he was covering Kero and the zoosadists. Whatever you think about the guy, you can tell he does have a sense of humanity and a moral compass. Whatever is wrong with Jim, I hope the doctors will be able to find some way to help him. And if they can't, then I do hope whatever time he has left will be as pain-free and comfortable as possible.

Gunt attacking Jim for not having kids and for changing his name (if he even did change his name) was pathetic and stupid, but that's Ralph for you. I mean, so what if Jim didn't father any kids? Maybe he felt like he wasn't cut out to be a parent and felt it was best to remain child-free? It takes a lot of maturity and introspection for someone to understand that they wouldn't be a suitable parent and it would be better for them not to have kids. It's far better to know that about yourself and make that choice for your life than it is to just not give a shit, have kids when you aren't ready/suitable, and then force that child to grow up without the love and parental care that they deserve, or worse yet be fully neglectful and abusive towards that child because you're too selfish and immature to be a good parent for them. Or maybe Jim just doesn't like kids and doesn't want to have one cramp his lifestyle? Nothing wrong with that, and none of those scenarios would make Jim a bad person or " less of a man". I think someone having kids when they shouldn't and then forcing that child to grow up in a shitty, neglectful, unloving household would be more likely to make someone less of a man.

And who cares if Jim changed his name? What does that have to do with anything? So what if he "abandoned the name his daddy gave him at birth"? Maybe Jim didn't have a good relationship with his dad, and now that he's potentially facing his mortality he wanted to finally change his name to something he likes better. Or there could be any number of reasons he wanted to change his name, none of which would make him a coward or a bad person. The argument that Jim changed his name because he wanted to hide is a fucking ridiculous and illogical one, given that Jim is still streaming and seemingly hasn't moved to a new place. And he hasn't changed his attitude or the subjects he covers. Sure doesn't seem like the behavior of someone trying to hide. And that's assuming he actually changed his name and isn't just fucking around or that his old name wasn't just some alias.

Also, if anyone is looking for a good place to find mirrors of Jim's livestreams, the Trigger Warning Media channel on YouTube has mirrors of all his past livestreams and typically gets updated with a mirror of any new stream he makes the same day Jim streams. well even cancer ridden and possibly wheel chair bound jim has a life ralph would rather have.
