I don't wanna be a dick but you clearly have no idea how fucking dangerous that site still is. Scientists still believe it has the capability to start a meltdown again, which would be just as bad if not worse than the 1986 incident. They didn't remove anything, they literally cooled it and then covered it up with shit -- which they later had to upgrade to even more protection to keep the 'isotopes have decayed away' from leaking out and causing even more issues. Even more recently, they have been talking about needing another multi-billion dollar project to cover the site.
It's not going to spontaneously blow up and I don't think anyone will sabotage the shit intentionally. It is however a very real threat, and as it doesn't have power at the moment, they got backup power but it does need special attention as the consequences are dire.
