They have an industrial shredder or two, at least, on the field in Ukraine. (Reports of "mobile crematories" are exaggerated, they would use a lot of fuel and be impractical even if they brought them. I see no evidence of them being currently in use). Rendering facilities use these shredders, they're inexpensive and low fuel cost to run, the mobile ones. It's a grim method but reduces chances of identifying the dead, and makes the remains easier to leave in place.

There is already a Chinese alternative to SWIFT, by and by, called CIPS. The Russian banks are already hooked up to it, and a lot of the countries in the Sinosphere (read: China and its client states) are in it by default.

I don't disagree. But my educated guess is that Putin prefers the Chinese yoke to the Western one, if he even thinks that. (Or he thinks Xi and the CCP are far more amenable to negotiation than the West).

Be that as it may, while a lot of Russia's recent actions is bewildering, the US' reaction to this has been even more schizophrenic. I still believe the Americans are a pre-eminent world power and won't be dethroned anytime soon but a lot of the things they been doing do not lend confidence to such a status, the SWIFT thing and recent begging of OPEC to make up the Russian oil and gas deficit being the latest one.

This turnaround is so soon after "BIOLABS are a conspiracy you Q tards!" that it's likely State did not check with the BIden flacks and DoD first, because Ukraine has been a State Department/glowie op from the start. Nuland and her fellow neocons would love nothing more than to have a casus belli to annihilate Russia, even using nukes if they have to, because Russia has been in their way since 2014. I suspect Nuland did this to force the White House's hand.

The warmongering neocons may do a biological false flag attack since nothing else (maternity hospital, orphans, pickle jars, sexy Zeklensky, nuke plant goes boom) gained traction. I disagree, sinply because China is a one state party, so whatever happens, they're going to force Russia to do things that only benefits the CCP. And since its just a one state party, there's zero chance they're going to change their mind. Meanwhile, the West is a democracy, meaning people can influence the government here and there. I mean, if the burgers can elect both Trump and Biden, what's going to stop them from electing an even more Russia-friendly leader?

But when the US gave them the intel, that confirms their suspicion, hence why they were quite late in asking for Putin to delay the invasion in early February. If this Oil ban stands Russia is fucked long term too, oil has been on it's way out slowly but surely and this is only going to push the West to invest even harder in solar, wind, and most importantly nuclear power.
