Few things are more annoying than listening to Phil bitch about X, where he depict his critics with that retarded impersonation of what he wants everyone to think they're like, and he doesn't realize actually resembles himself.
Just one of the many things he would be wise to avoid. Any random viewer automatically gets the benefit of the doubt on what their voice sounds like, and usually there's enough lack of context for it be hard to assume their personalities as well. When you've been a public figure for over a decade, you don't get the benefit of the doubt anymore, and you've given more than enough context for people to rip into you at a moment's notice. And that's even if you've behaved yourself. There is shit Max Dood could do to drive half his audience away, that people just straight-up expect out of Phil.

This is really the heart of Phil. And it's why I get MATI at him. Because he's a pretender. It's one thing to be an average slob coasting on through life. Picking up nothing, leaving nothing behind. Not really fitting anywhere. We've all met 'em. The kinda person who's like "ehh I don't actually listen to music." And importantly, culture isn't ethnicity. Us Yankees like to LARP it a little bit too. I spent my whole life being told this is how the old Germans lived or the old Norwegians or the Swedes would do things or act. And that shaped my family's life. Thus it shaped mine. But we'll come back to that.
It can also be more. As Phil should know. Competitive gamers have a culture. Both on the macro and the micro. I play with these people. You can go to any MMO right now. And find a guild, and find a culture. Hell even general chat, has a culture. My workplace, has a culture. Your workplace has a culture. This website, has a goddamn culture. And that last one is important. It's pretty easy to point out when whatever fucking happening sees people coming in here and shitting up the place. They stand out. Even in this zoo of faggotry, their brand of it sticks out.
And Phil loves to act like he belongs with all these people. He doesn't even fit in with his chat all that well. How many of his dents are "Ehh we just hang out on his streams to hang out with each other, Phil is just background noise to it all." He certainly doesn't fucking fit in at his "workplace". Youtube and Twitch all have their little niches. I have more of an in on some youtuber cliques than fucking Phil does. And even his hobby. The FGC, is a culture. On the Macro and the Micro. You have your coastal FGCs. You have your community FGCs. Even the overarching umbrella that is the F G C. Phil doesn't belong to any of it.
And he desperately wants you to think he does. Because he knows. In some small part of his brain. He knows he is an island. One he made. Because he had to be the top of all of it. So no one wanted him to be part of anything. So he can only pretend. And all he has left now, is pretending to be a fucking wop. Because at least his family can't chime in with "actually we never liked you either."

Phil only clings to something for an identity if he can gain from it. He'll hold his status as someone who played competitively to give himself the illusion of authority on fighting games but the moment he has to face his lacking skill he'll start tarring the idea of competition in gaming with the "elitist" brush. Same with the "italian" bullshit. He's never been to italy, he's more polish than italian and it only really started coming up from his "tomato sauce". He knows to keep a "low profile" on the internet, as too many eyes on him will expose the deceit. Too many eyes, well, people start asking questions. It's about keeping the illusion of "poor" to the dopey few and keeping a majority of people off of him.
Yeah, he'll talk shit about bigger streamers, because he knows they will not bring him up. Pewdiepie will talk shit here and there, but Phil is scared of being exposed for his antics, because he knows that people will find out REAL quick how much of a piece of shit he really is! That is one thing that Phil is terrified of: being exposed by a bigger audience and having Wings like trolls or people so out for blood, they'll fuck with him in ways he'll be hitting that gin HARD! I don't condone that kind of autism of fucking with Phil IRL, even that sneak photo of him in the mall SCARED the shit out of him, but hey! If that kind of autism is your cup of tea, cool. My god he is lazy and fucking stupid. Updating his OBS even with his old pc is not going to break his setup. If anything it will improve it. I even did that with my PC that is about the same age as his PC and no problems. The best thing about OBS is that you can install the new OBS and it will overwrite the old one and transfer your setup to the new OBS.
But I am not surprised he hasn't updated his OBS since this is a guy that is lazy about everything in his life from cleaning dishes (he uses paper plates) to cooking himself a meal to live (he made a sick Panda make him his dinner). He states he is a hard worker but doesn't even do the bare minimum to improve his streams. Like I said in an earlier post, he can't even take 10 minutes out of his day to update his Patreon, not even changing one word to another such as Twitch to YouTube.
It is moments like this I laugh my ass off because God truly provided us with a creature that defies common sense, intelligence, and morality. DSP keep being a lazy moronic fat piece of human garbage because man you provide some of the best comedy to humanity. But if you got stabbed by a crazy homeless man while on your day off I wouldn't care less and your fans wouldn't either.
