We're probably not going to see chemical weapons used by either side. The Russians are more likely to use them against Ukraine than vise versa. Ukraine wouldn't use them because they'd be killing Ukrainian civilians too, and then Vlad would return in kind. The Russians may deploy nerve gas if they can't take Kiev. They will probably imply that the Azov Battalion or Zelensky did it.

Ukrainians are using their own people as human shields. Preventing people from fleeing besieged cities. With a policy that seems to be about getting enough of their own Civilians killed so that NATO joins.

To me, it seems far more likely they'd stage an attack, even if it kills their own. Then Russia doing it.

This is with the view that such an attack would draw NATO in. So who would benefit from it, would suggest who would do it.

Although the most likely thing is that it is claimed that Russia used them. It will be repeated in the media. The OPCW will falsely claim there is evidence of it. No dissent will be allowed from this narrative. Then at some point, it will come out it was a lie, which is then not covered or told to people.

There is precedent for that.

This thread, and nazi cat's post, have prompted me to research Russian involvement in the terrorist country I grew up in. Couldn't go downtown cuz Russians and LDS (wtf).. but I have a soft spot for Russians?
Regression therapy incoming...
Nahhhh.

I would recommend watching this day to day coverage of the Russo-Ukrainian war.

He's always neutral and impartial and debunks the bullshit propaganda pieces that the Ukries are posting in social media.

His coverage is IMO much better than that of OSINT larpers.
That channel has so far been a good find. No grifting or shilling, no cringy melodrama, just straight to the point impartial and clinical analysis.

At this point it's not "allowed" so much as it's "approved", "sanctioned".

The slippery slope when people started glorifying "punch a nazi". Now its a Russian. What's next?
Since we're on the topic of Asians and Rascalisms.

It's been determined that the term "Slippery Slope" is troublesome and derogatory, casting Asians, South East Asians, and particularly Vietnamese in a negative light.

You're instructed to use the phrase "Frictionless Incline" from now on.

A lot of this was essays from a decade and a half ago so I only remember bits and pieces, Stuart Slade wrote a couple short essays about Nuclear Warfare and its aftermath. He was a bit of a lolcow about his alt-history fiction, but he did work for a DoD think tank related to these strategic issues. Life After Nuclear War, the google conversation is the best that popped up but he does answer some questions about what we know of Soviet targeting and who gets nukes. A PDF of his Nuclear Warfare 101, short essay but good. Pie cutters are this website but for real maps.

I don't have exact numbers of ICBM off the top of my head, but the last generation of US and Soviet ones numbered in the hundreds and carried around 10 MIRVs each. A single SS-18 could, in theory, destroy every major city in a US state. That's not even counting SLBM from ballistic missile subs either. An Ohio-Class SSBN carries up to 24 SLBM, the earlier ones with Trident I SLBM having 8 MIRVs are 100kt a piece, the later and refit ones (SSBN-730 to SSBN-743) carry up to 24 Trident IIs with up to 12 MIRVs, either the 100kt range W76 or the 475kt range W88. A single SSBN can destroy every major city in a country. A lot of the effects and after effects of a nuclear war at a bit exaggerated, but the reality is bad enough.
Defense analysts seem to have a habit of writing ridiculous alt-hist fanfiction. William S. Lind, best known for the Pentagon wars, went on to write a Turner Diaries knockoff called Victoria, which includes a scene where the heroes dress up and crusaders and massacre the subversive academics with swords while Dies Irae plays on the P.A. .

Russia has a shitton of bugmen.
  • Online media is bugmen upon bugmen even though most of them are oligarch-owned.
  • All theaters are state-funded and absolutely everyone employed there (janitors are outsourced) is a bugman who openly hates Putin and Russians (of every ethnicity).
  • Performers which get booked by state and state-adjacent entities are all bugmen, and most independent performers who earn money are bugmen too. (Kadyrov domesticated several steppenigger rappers who aren't. They're still vectors of niggerhood though.) Based musicians earn nothing and post their mp3s for free on vkontakte or geocities-like websites.
  • State-funded schools have a lot of libsoftiktok bugmen. Private schools are full of them. Even church schools, if girls-only or mixed sex, have a token pedo dyke bugwoman.
  • There's a sex ed for toddlers lobby which got embedded in schools through hospice charities overtaken by bugmen.
  • Roskomnadzor (the online censorship office) itself is computer-illiterate suits, but its arm is bugmen (manbuns and fat dangerhairs with septum piercings).
edit: and these are just some examples of currently active bugmen in Russia. There are also thousands of larval trust fund babbies studying overseas (whose parents may be normies or oldschool corrupt), and not all of them will settle there - many will return and inherit their parents' offices.

A good rule of thumb is if you see a person getting referred to in writing or credited with a diminutive name, it's a bugman. Misha, Mitya, Masha, Anya, Katya, etc. (Women are more prone to it but men who do it surpass the women in degeneracy; if an organization contains a Mitya, everyone in is has AIDS, but a Katya may be a bog standard thot: a sign of corruption, but not damning.)
Just make sure it's not a normal full name; e.g. Darya, Marya and Natalya are full names; Yulia is a full name, Yulya is a diminutive. You can't tell by sight by the "y" letter, it depends on whether it produces a [j] sound (normal) or not (bugman).
Well what do you know, Russia suffers from the same problem that America has.

Question for older, more observant kiwis: Has the US government/media used the phrase "false flag" to describe another countries supposed actions this much before? In Syria they constantly claimed Assad was gassing his own civilians or dropping nail bombs on them, but never that he was false flagging the whole thing to set up the rebels. Meanwhile the phrase "false flag" has made it into virtually every household over the last decade. Could this be a way to preemptively excuse any chemical or biological weapons the Ukes might use in desperation?

Not really. Bizarrely I think it was Alex Jones that popularized the term.

OK guys, I know you're young and all. But the term "False Flag" has been used for decades, long before Alex Jones was a deformed sperm swimming around in his dad's nut sack.

The Gulf of Tonkin Incident was regarded as a "False Flag" attack and described as such by prominent Americans when it happened.

The Nazis used "False Flag" attacks which were described as such at the time as justification for their invasion of Poland.

The term originally derived from the Age of Sail with ship commanders, pirates, privateers, and what not concealing their identity by hoisting the flag of their rival's - or neutral - country. Although "false flag" attacks are as old as antiquity tbh.

You underestimate Alex Jones and how long he's been around...

This war has really shown it doesn't matter how much you spend on modernizing your military, if your intelligence is shit, and your military so corrupt they're constantly pocketing fund for personal use, you're not really going anywhere.

Told ya the trump ban was only the beginning
Readovka is one of the worst maps, it's basically those Ukrainian maps which shows Russia barely controlling any territory but inverted, because it's Russian.
EDIT: Hell, it even calls captured cities, Liberated cities on the Legend.

It’s a war you fucking nigger.
And if you survive, you have to be able to live with yourself after.
Japan wasn't worse than the Mongols.

The Mongols used to stack up skulls and rape women in every city they conquered and the IJA only did that to ONE city. Which they still refuse to acknowledge or apologize for.

Where's my Comfort Woman.
One city? Hong Kong would like a word with you. And the Dutch East Indies. And literally all the territory Japan conquered. Rape was just something they did constantly. Mark Felton has an hour-long documentary on Youtube about Japanese brutality in WWII. I've posted it in other threads here.

In short, the Japanese were far more brutal than most people realize. Their penchant for rape didn't start with hentai.

Hard to say given how difficult it is for anyone to get reliable information. Here's the map CNN posted a few hours ago for comparison:

Looks like Readouka is significantly more optimistic about Russia controlling areas it's made any attempt to advance into.

do americans unironically think the japs fought some kind of race war against them in ww2
the absolute state of burger education lmao
They basically did, it was more against Western powers in general rather than America specifically.
WW2 Japan was racist as fuck. Against whites (who they had a burning sense of resentment and inferiority towards), but much more so against other Orientals like the Chinese (who they murdered in their millions) and Koreans, and Filipinos, whose kids they enjoyed using for target practice when they weren't running around hospitals stabbing the patients, or burning down schools and convents with helpless civilians trapped inside. Their war crimes are legendary, worse than anything the Nazis and Soviets ever did. Maybe worse than Genghis Khan, who at least knew how to turn people into allies because he wasn't a racist lunatic out to brutally enslave anybody who didn't belong to his tribe.

There's a reason pretty much everybody in East Asia really fucking hates the Japs, even to this day.
The Mongols had to be convinced by some brass-balled Chinese scholar that taxing the conquered peoples was better than fertilising the soil with their corpses.
