I hate this argument with a passion and I don't even like Disney that much. You really need to grasp at straws with this one because, in the case of the movies, and off the top of my head, not only it does NOT apply to "blacks" only but most of the times if a character is turned into an animal it's because they did something to prompt it.

Brother Bear focuses on the consequences of Kenai, an Inuit, attempts to kill a bear because he believes they're nothing more than "thieving monsters" and not only one of his brothers die defending him from said bear, and he kills the bear in a n act of revenge, but also gets cursed into turning into a bear to learn his ways as a result of his instigation.

The Princess and the Frog has Tiana only gets turned into a frog way into the film after trying to undo Naveen's curse with a kiss, being turned into a frog herself. The only reason Naveen gut turned into a frog by Facilier to begin with was because he was broke after his parents' cut him off, thought he could marry Charlotte (the only white American character that matters in the film) for her money without lifting a finger and thought that striking a deal with the shady voodoo man was a good idea.

The only place where this ""argument"" could ""apply"" is in Soul, because Joe was just unfortunate enough to get involved in an accident that could have killed him but only left him in a coma and with his soul reaching limbo.

We get it, Autumn, you fell for the classic "Disney's first [insert label here] character" in spite of them doing it time and time again. But this ""argument"" is the equivalent of trying to hold a piece of wet toilet paper, you only get to hold the corners before it all falls apart.

Autumn doesn't have the balls to depict rape. Maybe it'll be apart of an edgy backstory but a rape scene? That's way too risky.

I'm pretty sure she's saying that the graphic content in DevilEater will be just as gorey as Berserk and therefore get the same reaction from sensitive twitter users. Which is just :lit: Autumn's childish phone scribbles of blood and guts will never be on the same level as Berserk.

I was trying to find someone to compare Autumn’s lunacy to when it hit me: she’s basically acting like Ken Penders. Both have terrible ocs, both keep hyping up a comic that doesn’t exist, etc. Place your bets—is Lara Su Chronicles going to come out before Devil Eater?

Autumn's skills, even before her degradation, were never close to even attempting some of the art seen in Beserk. If she even thinks she'll somehow come close to even having an audience like Berserks to make this sort of nonsensical discourse happen she's dead wrong. The only discourse that Devileater will have is probably from how poorly she'll handle discussions and implications of aspects like rape, brutal death, gore and then just how bad she, the author, is and people bringing up her history online.
