Huh, so like "коммуналка".
These people really don't learn from the past.
The irony is that there's probably more actual believers in communism in America than there ever have been in Russia. Honestly though it might work better this time because soybugs don't typically mate.

A lot of these guys are already posting selfies. Shouldn't be too tough to find out who they are.

Also, Russians are already thinking of nicknames for them. Mickey Mice (Микимаусам) has been suggested. We'll see if something clever sticks.
Jesus fucking christ that rubbery-ass smug soy face. There are so many things wrong with this picture I don't know where to begin

They like to tag each other in pictures + also go through the people who like their selfies.
Believe me. within a week you're able to identify at least 5 of them, you know who they are married with/name of their gf and there is a big chance you have pics of their kids, parents, sister, brothers, the house they live...

Pro-tips for any kiwi who wants to become a 'contractor':
- It's ok to post selfies to show the world what a badass motherfucker you are:

- But don't post the faces of the rest of your 'friends' unless they agree with it (I did the work for him)

- And make sure you delete those embarrassing pics:

I mean its fair play right, if NATO are going to play proxy war with supplies and encouraging volunteers then why shouldn't Russia also engage those in its sphere?

Hopefully this remains located within the Ukraine though and doesn't turn into cold war style proxy conflicts absolutely everywhere.
Seems the way to go, how do you employ military aggression/deterrence without escalating it into a nuclear war?
Well with an internal conflict and "volunteers".
Can't really say you declared war if all the people you're sending are doing so on their own will and totally not sponsored by the army, just send an endless wave of military equipment and fools who are willing to die for "the right cause".
PMCs must be salivating thinking of the future right now

Funny you should mention that. Facebook is slackening its moderation standards to allow for calling for the death of Russian soldiers (and Putin). In response, Russian prosecutor general's office is calling to designate the entire META group as an extremist organiszation. Then Meta said Russia’s crackdown on its service is "retaliation for the company’s fact-checking of content published by Russian state media".

How is this anything other than a global psychosis?

Now all that being said, Russia is performing like an overburdened donkey that doesn't know where the fuck its going, getting battered from all sides. Had they just rolled out the Artillery and flattened cities as per Soviet Doctrine this might have already been over, but they were under some delusion that the Ukrainian's would either fall apart or at least be more passive than they are.

And obviously flattening cities will endear them to the world and to their "liberated" new subjects even less.
They weren't under some delusion, they understand that last line well. The real objective is Kherson and Crimean water. Russia also wants Donetsk and Lugansk, for no reason other than they were the excuse for the war special operation.

Russia can't hold Ukraine. It could have but Putin is too corrupt and incompetent for it; even if he decides to be a benevolent ruler right now, the government he created won't sustain it. The only person in the government who wanted a stronk Russia at all is the one most opposed to the war, Elvira Nabiullina -- she wanted a success story and a cozy position at the IMF huffing her own farts. Now that dream is dead.

Everyone else was happily sabotaging Russian businesses, in exchange for kickbacks from Western competitors, and government projects, to steal the funds. Being the only producer of meds for the public healthcare system is a lot of money, but being the only importer of meds is more money right now. You can't import roads (they would if they could), but you can build shit roads without drainage which get washed away every four years and rebuild them every four years.

TL;DR Russia can't conquer shit, it can barely hold its own pants up. But Putin murdered too many people (politicians and normies) in his early years to be able to peacefully retire, so unless he found a way to keep the Sevastopol naval base past 2017, he was looking at a military coup and the business end of a bayonet.

Born too late to explore the world
Born too early to explore the universe
Born just in time to see the entire world devolve into a war of psychotic rage against each other

I'm honestly still dubious on the strategic value of these "mercenaries". If this is some sort of insurgency then sure, you don't need a command & control structure, and there's nothing much to defend beyond a few hidden assets. But the Ukrainian army is still supposed to be a conventional standing army, and they have objectives and territory to defend.

How does one integrate them into command? Or individual "volunteers" into a unit?
How sure are you they are as capable as your regulars?
Who would be the poor NCO incharge of feeding this sorry sack of pampered westerners? And so on.

EDIT: The same example can be extended to the Syrian "volunteers", but it looks like they at least come at battalion or even division level, so they are already organized.

Some cool footage today

1, Smerch MLRS firing at Azov positions
2, Captured Javelins with launch computer by DPR
3, more MLRS

Brief sperg on the donbass militias
How effective the LPR and DPR forces have been operationally is amazing to me. they have arrived at the front with crap their fathers would have seen as outdated and blown away their NATO backed opposition, like seriously they are leading the charge in the eastern front and are taking town after town with mosins and DP machine guns.

Honestly they wouldn't have been begging for volunteers frim the get go if that shit mattered to them. Its a desperation ploy, and it seems to be helping.

Think of it this way: Would you rather a bunch of paid combat vets having your back and helping with training, or put your hopes and dreams on reddit?

What a shit show. Polish people are kinda like wtf. So Kamala Harris was in Warsaw and she cackled during the press conference when asked about the refugees.

And that fag Trudeau was also here, came to have some pictures taken with the refugees and was pretending to cry at some point when the cameras were clicking.

That's either a drunk, high or overly tired so everything is funny laugh. Probably the most genuine laugh I've heard from a politician in a long time.
She's probably like "we don't take white refugees you fucking Slav retards lmao get fucked"

I think of it less as a legit strategy to win and more of a:
"Let's set a precedent for our civilians and army that they can just willingly jump onto a PMC and die in a war several countries away that only benefits our oligarchs"
I wouldn't be surprised if PMCs have sing up centers and planes ready right before the next big conflict starts.
Also wouldn't be surprised if the new wave of volunteers starts looking less like reddit suicide squad and more like proper soldiers

Do you think he watches shonen or something much more degenerate?
Definitely shonen. Chechens, as well as many Central Asian minorities in Russia, love nigger culture. Kadyrov himself has domesticated a number of pet rappers, despite being straight-edge. (You may think it's unwise, but family ties and responsibilities are strong in Chechen culture, which mitigates the worst aspects of niggerhood. He's also internet-savvy enough to have come up with a way to stop viral crimes: he makes perps apologize and degrade themselves on camera.) So if watches something (which is possible, considering he has four sons and two adopted brothers aged 6-16, and probably more sons from unofficial wives), it must be the shonen series darkies love.
