Among sites that have become much worse in search, Youtube's search is abysmal these days. Trying to find anything specific amongst a topic that has subtopics that are much more popular than what you search for is nigh impossible. I assume you'd have to lobotomize the results by using dozens of - tags. Seeing how bad Google has gotten I guess it should not be surprising.

I'm guilty of adding "reddit" on my searches lately because the results are often clogged with pajeet spam blogs trying to sell you shit. But sometimes I notice Google would omit results coming from reddit on certain topics, I think stuff about health/meds and covid vax.

DDG shows things fine.
Ironically reddit posts are synonymous with those old random posts that have exactly what you need due to its popularity and is unfortunately the next best thing since discord is a literal blackhole

There have been quiet a few times when random queries ive had are already archived in a reddit thread somewhere

Its still cancer shit though

I've encountered this several times on google images recently, at the bottom of a very short set of results. It's usually on a search for a very mildly controversial or niche topic, where google traditionally has better results than other search engines (and without the reams of porn that DDG feeds you). Each time I've seen it, the thing I've been looking for has actually been hiding behind the "see more" link.

Believe me, I have nothing but contempt for Redditfags, but I do this as well. It's simply because a lot of niche subreddits aren't as pozzed, so if you're looking for specific topics like obscure film, foreign music, crypto, tech help, etc., you can get specific answers. But yeah, for libtard circlejerks like r/politics and r/worldnews, I wouldn't touch that with a 6'' pole.

Has search gotten worse? Well, just try to search for any technical topic on Google or Bing, and the results you get are nothing but pajeets blathering on about stuff they clearly don't understand. Just look at the results of this search query:
https://www.bing.com/search?q=run+backup+"Microsoft+Azure"+sql+&form=QBLH

Does anyone think that woman has anything to tell us about setting up better Azure SQL backups? Seriously!

this makes me want to start a pajeet tech channel where I use explicit hardcore pornography for all my examples and analogies with the appropriate visual aids. My work will be complete when I receive one earnest comment thanking me for teaching them how to deploy a docker container or debug a common table expression.

Depends what engine you use i use but before I used brave I used duckduckgo and the searches where ass but brave is good.

YT seems to be suggesting current events and identity politics related vids more now.

Stuff like the Russian invasion, "systemic racism", and "say no to racism".

(which is especially odd seeing how I don't watch SJW or much current events stuff)
Youtube's algorithm pisses me off so much, it only recommends me videos for kids aged <10 when running a vpn and when said VPN is not running it keeps recommending me videos from my country even if I set my language to english and my location to literally anywhere but my country.

Also John Oliver, the fucking fag somehow always ends up showing on my results for anything politics related.

As far as Youtube goes I have had trouble with it for years now. I have so patiently tried to train its system but to zero avail.

All I have ever watched in music is classic rock for boomers but it still keeps trying to flood me with rap. I dismiss every single rap video with not interested or do not recommend channel but it never learns that.

I watched a few Pagan and paranormal channels and now it bombards me with exceptional "scary stories" compilations. These are almost definitely "Let's Not Meet" crap pulled from Reddit. Teen girl complains of weirdo walking behind her in the woods...that kind of shit.

I watched a few practical videos on pet care and now it shows me all this cutesy stuff from fat dangerhaired dog worshippers. It's mah pitbull's fifth birfday yall! I made her gluten free cupcakes!!!

And I agree that the site seems increasingly geared toward actual children. I suppose that explains why so many perfectly decent channels are racking up strikes galore...even the harmless tards who gargle ghost peppers or review Irish whiskey. Even the LA Beast can't get the censors off of his back.

All my results will be music shit about That Song Whose Title Resembles What I Typed.
I was trying to look up articles about "the future is fixed", as in the future is fixed just like the past because of the Novikov self-consistency principle.

But there happens to be a song with that name.

(aaarrrggghhh...)

I dismiss every single rap video with not interested or do not recommend channel but it never learns that.
That's probably deliberately written into the algorithm, likely because "diversity".

The beauty of it is that the actual video that got its thumbnail replaced (on Microsoft Bing) with some blonde EE woman jacking off two dicks was from the official Microsoft Azure channel.

I hate this shit. It's not even controversial or niche shit for me, but like anything related to vidya or craft or tech support shit. Ads, scams, and reddit shit completely unrelated and then if it does the "show more" and you click it it gives the actual results that are relevant after like a good scroll or 2 but sometimes then it's stingy and decides the thing you'relooking for doesnt exist and blocks it anyways without saying it did and it showsup still on other search engines. All search engines are now shit equally wheras before google was one of the better ones but shittier with the "curated results basedon search history" shit that could be easily bypassed by going on private browsing/incognito mode.

Can confirm.
Based.

Here, I search up a track from the game "The Secret of Mana" and it gave me everything except what I was looking for.

No youtube, no direct to MP3 link, nah just the game itself on Steam. The closest thing to what I was looking for was a stupid forum post on SMW central.

Not to mention Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah, Jimmy Kimmel, and Don Lemmon's punchable faces.
I literally can no longer find "joe biden wake up shitposts on youtube through the search bar. All the results are now almost entirely unrelated looping infinity scrollresults shit for joe biden news talking abut how great he is from these fuckers.

I now ALSO cannot find the english version of "sweet sweet sweet" by dreams come true on youtube anymore. Their fucking retarded algorithm brings up only recent uploads of the japanese versions and unrelated shit like "sweet dreams are made of these cover"by some fucking other artist or something with a vaugely similar name. Setting to "newest first" only brings up a sonic 06 album remix of the fucking english one that samples it but not the english version that used to literally be the only version of the song I could find way back inthe day when I found out the sonic 1 and 2 soundtracks were mostly repurposed songs by the music artist hired to do the soundtrack in a manner similar to the MJ connection.
I mean, hey at least one of the first results was the original 80s demo tape of the song.

Found this from a video of a dude talking about Duck Duck Go going to shit; but Google Image Search, "Blonde Braids."

Then count how long it takes you to find a white girl.
Oh yeah, that's been a thing I heard about too. never saw any videos about it but yeah every searchengine is various levels of algorithm curated for politics reasons bullshit now.

I can't speak to jewgle but on ddg I think this is a nothingburger. I just searched for blonde, brunette, redhead on their own and they were all completely white. even searching for "black" turned up black swatches than people (lol), and "black hair" turned up way more white people. I think it's just another case of paper bag test passing influencers peddling a stupid trend to self-loathing blacks
