I am not even fully sure it is a grift. A lot of Dems, especially older ones that were able to vote Clinton, truly believe in it. Chernobyl and Russia fear mongering has killed any chances for them to vote nuclear as they are more paranoid about the town exploding from a reactor than Climate change. It doesn’t help that Obama and presumably Clinton kept pushing non-solutions as alternatives to the dilemma. Now you have 1-2 generations built on hating the most logical source in favor of energy that they think will do something. It is programming at this point.

And their new nuclear plan, give Iran, a country with a policy called “DEATH TO AMERICA” the chance to get money from buying Persian oil, as well as turning a blind eye to the nuclear program, which will mostly lead to a petty Iranian leader pressing the button and launching as soon as the country has the means to do so.

The thing that really stings about 'green' energy is how the morons that support it don't bother to look at how destructive it is to nature. Why would they care, the average urbanite camping experience is a cabin with full modern amenities and getting crunk. They'll bitch about pandas and global warming and pollution while pushing for 'empty land' to be razed into concrete shitholes.

One of the worst aspects of illegal AND legal immigration is how fucking much these people take. Over my life I've seen multiple piers, shorelines and forests just emptied of wild food and animals. I try to educate fellows to practice release, stop creating so many orphaned animals and not be so fucking greedy but they don't stop and then complain the harvest is weaker every year. Why would they stop when poaching laws might as well not exist and 'muh global warming' fucks don't contribute to nature and wildlife warden funds. You can't even mention that a huge problem are illegals/immigrants because it's considered racist to try and educate them about ethical harvesting. I'm not going to be gaslit into caring for human-shaped locusts.

The clean energy "salvation" these people are looking for does not exist (at this time anyway) because the current technology is too inefficient and also if you look beyond the surface the concepts involved in it all destroy the environment as much as it saves it.

The title is reference to the Chinese emperor asking his royal artist what is the hardest and easiest thing to paint.

This bull dyke is admitting they had ballots, but just didn't count them because tired. She knew the rules but just didn't care because she'll never be fired. This is what we're up against.

You can see this in action on game warden shows like Lone Star Law and Louisiana Law. None of the beans understand conservation, they use gill nets across entire rivers to catch literally any fish that swims through, keep the undersized ones, don’t pay for hunting or fishing licenses, and the list goes on.

Going by what was mentioned on Monday, the votes weren't added to the final tallies of the primary on the Tuesday before. The way she says it there seems to mean tabulated like "we have 10,000 ballots in the facility, we don't know who they're for, we'll check on them later." Which seems to have been a week later. This is red flags everywhere like Al Franken winning his senate seat with votes found in the back of someone's trunk.

Most have no knowledge on nuclear power past Chernobyl and Fukushima, meaning that it is bad. It is the reason why nuclear is never seen as good while shittier options like solar are pushed. It doesn’t help that nuclear being good is more-or-less an alternative opinion only backed by non-mainstream sources in any significant capacity, which is likely due to politicians/businesses wanting it to get fucked.

There is something to be said that the average Dem does give a shit about Climate Change, but has no further information outside of what the political candidate and likely the pundit comedians for said politician have to say. People like Colbert just keep reinforcing the Chernobyl perception to their audience that, scarily, looks to them as a news source on the subject. Though, actual sources are not much better today.

The thing I have realized is that most just don’t give a shit about the environment itself, but rather the air and doomsday clock of Climate Change. They see much of the nature destruction as pretty much sacrifice for the greater good as it means the air is not a black smog, or on par with China.

As for the tech itself, even when confronted with the short comings, they will shrug it off and say, “well, at least we are doing something.” This line of thinking is probably the scariest aspect of the Climate Change fighters.
