I wonder if Phil ha seen this. He is stretching the game to insane lengths (while making big bucks) and others clear it in under 40 minutes

Then again once he quits Elden Ting what will be the next big earner? Despite how we laugh about his stalling and obvious guide reading he is raking in cash (though his viewership is plummeting as expected). Is there another big title I am not aware of?

Kirby and maybe Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. He hates Nintendo but you know he would gladly use Kirby for a chance to stall even more on Elden Ring. Final Fantasy Origin I heard is meant to be a more souls like game than other Final Fantasy titles. Also, it's a RPG so he will probably stay away from it. Those are the biggest releases I can think of at the top of my head. Both of which I imagine won't appeal to Phil.

Yeah. I mentioned Final Fantasy a few pages back but that would be the only *big* release I can think of. in early april we get a Lego Star Wars for all consoles. Now this would be something for "not a children's entertainer" Phil. I see him going back to Dying Light 2. I mean he still has it right? Can play it as well just to bridge the gap to the next thing that will save his zombie channel

Seriously though, Phil getting scammed by some cut-rate attorney is ahnestly just as believable. He's constantly falling for marketing schemes. Any mildly street-smart person who wasn't sheltered under Mama Burnell's corpulent wing into adulthood can instantly tell Phil is a perfect mark. Phil probably cheaped out on the Tax Attorney to save money for Hogan's and ended up with a complete shyster who would do anything to keep the Golden Manchild in his rolodex, playing into Phil's utter laziness and ignorance of the world by offering the path of least resistance. Entirely plausible imo.

Nothing that is super "hype" or something "everybody is talking about".
I think he has already shot down the Final Fantasy game.

This video looks to me like he's suppressing something. If it was a normal person it would probably be a burp or fart, but Phil's a nasty pig so it ain't that, so it's something he's embarrassed of. I'm going to guess it's some sort of stabbing pain from his fucked up teeth that's getting worse.

I didn't think about that, my mind went right to some kind of brain issue because he has been a drunk for at least twenty years. You could be right, because if he's suppressing something, it'll be dental pain.

It's pretty bonkers the capacity Phil has to anticipate embarrassment, because he only uses it with stuff that's readily visible on camera and can't be hidden. If he employed such awareness on the not so visible stuff, like Champions, there's a lot of shit we wouldn't know about. AT ALL. He's completely backwards about it, which goes to show just how little he would do to protect himself if he just didn't have problems like going bald and having pain inside his mouth, and therefore didn't think about hiding things even while on camera.

He banked so much on Feb being the month of games that will "put butts in seats" and thrust his channel and maybe it could have but Phil is addicted to shooting his own foot.

I don't think Phil ever means that shit, because he knows he lives day-to-day, not long-term. No game is going to save his channel, except Champions, by being ejected from his life with extreme prejudice, because as long as he remains hooked on that garbage, he'll never get ahead financially, which is the whole point behind "saving the channel". A clever YouTuber saves money every month and when it's not as much as usual, they do something to get back on schedule with their monthly socketing away of funds for their future.

Phil does need to milk certain games, but he's still not doing it the way he should, he's trying to have his cake and eat it too, like always, which ruins the intended effect of him playing so much Elden Ring. This greatly exacerbates the issue of him never saving money, ever, because the less he makes per day, the more that gacha addiction of his eats into money he legit needs for more important things. Which sets him back even more.

And he demonstrates just how much he doesn't understand this by not grabbing ahold of whatever game he can that comes down the pipeline, instead electing to let his lineup of new shit thin out because he's constantly trying to avoid challenging games that aren't a FromSoft product. Ducking Final Fantasy, but being all over a fucking LEGO game? Not taking this seriously, Phil is.

So about the whole "IT TAKES AN HOUR" thing.​

And he goes early in the morning (around 11AM) so he can get all his "chores" and buying of supplies done, right?

We know he isn't on the road when other people are because when this does happen he will rant and rave about all the dumbfuck morons stealing his valuable time when they should be working instead of getting in his way.

So with all this in mind how the fuck can a 12 mile trip take an hour even if you don't use the highway because you are a sissy?
Mind you I am not using sissy as a slur or derogatory term here, just being honest.

I checked out the distance as well and you can actually get there faster than an hour if you take the bus depending on what time you go. I really can't fathom what would turn a 12 minute trip into an hour long one besides LA style traffic.

As a sidenote, his rant about Kat not knowing what days she'll have off put my sides in orbit. A 40 year old man still has no idea how to squeeze grocery shopping into a work day that he creates. Refuses to go shopping alone, probably because he knows that people will leave him be if he is with his wife. At the same time he doesn't trust her to do grocery shopping by herself?? Maybe he doesn't trust her with the Burnell family fortune. I know she may have changed jobs, but doesn't she work at a grocery store? Is she not able to buy groceries after work on her way out? I would assume she gets some type of discount.

a 40 minute speedrun means you can basically cheese the game.

He spends 1000+ on groceries. Maybe he thinks she would take that money and leave or tuck it away to leave when Phil can't squeeze anything out of his paypigs. Based on how they got together that isn't out of the realm of possibility.

I remember he played the demo for the Stranger in Paradise Final Fantasy game and he got absolutely destroyed by the boss who totally doesn't use a moveset that's completely cloned from Oda Nobunaga in Nioh 1. It's made by the developers of Nioh but it's not as hard, it's just that when Phail the Dunce played it he of course skimmed over and then completely ignored the tutorial for the Soul Shield parry mechanic that they put as the main mechanic in the game. It allows you to "steal" certain enemy attacks and raises your MP if done successfully. It makes the fight much easier.

Also amazing he plays so slow I think he can actually play backwards, I'm sure he played more than me I only play a little a night after the kids asleep a lot of making builds I see and testing them and I have 3 characters in the academy or the surrounding area, phil is amazed and blames the game for being so big as to why he makes no progress.
