I have not seen a single one of these in the footage from Ukraine. It's all old BMPs, BTRs, T-72s, et cetera. It's literally all 40-year-old Cold War hardware. Why is Putin holding the good stuff back?

that said, since russia is now basically considered a hostile state, cutting business ties is the logical step to take. i don't think a lot of western pharma companies were doing business inside the USSR during the first cold war either (nor did a lot of soviet enterprises operate in the west for that matter)

no it wouldnt. a nato-russia nuclear war would annihilate europe (including european russia, which is where like 90% of russians live) and severely damage the USA, but that's it. south america, africa, the middle east, australia, and the vast majority of asia would be unaffected.

I'm surprised this is getting ignored in the thread, as it could signify the war moving out of Ukraine's borders. One guy posted it yesterday and nobody commented on it.
Last night a pilotless Soviet era drone crashed in Zagreb, Croatia. Fortunately it fell onto empty space - no one was injured or killed. It missed nearby student dorm and residential buildings by about 200 meters.
It's suspected it was launched in Ukraine, entered and flew in Romanian airspace for 3 min, entered and flew in Hungarian airspace for 40 min, entered Croatian airspace, flew for 7 min and crashed in Zagreb.
Romania, Hungary and Croatia are all NATO countries. No body reacted at all. Apparently Hungarians tracked it on radar for 40 min and did absolutely nothing, not even warn Croatia about it. Also, the drone had no transponder - that alone should raise alarm.
So who launched the drone?
1. Russians to test if NATO will react
2. Ukrainians to hopefully make NATO react to "Russian" drone
3. Someone fucked up and entered wrong coordinates and nobody wants to admit (fun fact, the place in Zagreb where it crashed is called Jarun. And there's Yarun in Ukraine)
