I haven't paid attention but it looks like prestream is early a second day in a row and he's doing a QnA segment scanning chat and talking about food instead of playing the game early?

EDIT - and he doubles down on the stupid in the pre-stream. Cause you know competiting companies are actually gentlemanly like the two gophers from looney tunes so games actually get delayed with "no no after you" "no no you first" "oh wait no I insist." god phil you are stupid.

One of the many thing he says regularly that he would NOT if he would bother to get a handle on his childish emotions. It's not a good look to be bitching about such a thing when everyone knows that your reason is autism and a thoroughly self-centered nature. Not to mention how fucking spoiled you have to be to even get annoyed by having two games released within a week of each other that take awhile to really dig into. It may be inconvenient for a reviewer who needs to plow through each game and get their review up FAST, but that isn't Phil. He's a streamer, and one who happily occupies his streams with decades-old games that are only relevant when heavily-modded, which he doesn't bother with out of laziness and incompetence.

I've said before, despite his ruining of it right now, it's still in Phil's interest to get as much out of a game as possible, because his lifestyle isn't about what's good in the long run, so he needs something to counter-act that. Max Dood jumps from game to game a LOT, even when it's not the genre he's known for covering, because his model is such that that works. Phil needs to make every stream count, and he can't do that so well if he's constantly dumping games from "slow streams", or getting through them quickly.

On top of wanting to keep the gameplay to a minimum per day, Phil has two things going against him: a dreary, boring personal life that makes his pre-streams suicide-inducing, and about the worst public image possible for the likes of him. So it's either make himself look sad and lonely with his talk of mundane shit no one cares about, or give us jackasses another juicy rant to laugh at him over.

This is one of the few "lesser of two evils" decisions I can say Phil makes the right choice on.

Because Elden Ring is making far more money than any other game he's playing and he wants to prolong the gravy train. Unless he hits a roadblock that really breaks his ego provoking a ragequit or sees donations dry up for a prolonged period of time, he's going to do whatever he can to keep playing it for as long as possible.

He even said its funny people take breaks after lunch to rest up and then laughed that it was silly. You retard you take a 30 minute break on your day stream then another 3 hour break before his night stream. God this guy is slow and thinks everyone in the world working are lazy and he is the only hard worker. No wonder you are still at Level One and begging to people in wheelchairs. I wouldnt be surprised if Phil looks at himself in the mirror and tells himself he is the best.

Phil could take Twitch to court and the judge would give him all his lost earnings from bits and subs because he did nothing wrong. But he chooses not to.

While I'd never condone giving Phiglet any money, bankrolling him to get Twitch into a courtroom would be probably the only worthwhile point of throwing cash at him.

Did I miss it or did DSP not do a yearly review for 2021? I know normally he ends up doing it in like February the following year so he can properly savor and digest every minute of the gameplay but I don’t remember hearing about it this year.
