Because we didn't learn from the last time we sponsored and helped small creators, but maybe things will be different now that we have warner brothers backing us up. So is this WB's attempt at finding new talent? They make RoosterTeeth scout and worship POCs?

It's really depressing that it's hobbling to a slow demise instead of ending on a high note. They had plenty of opportunities to close it off cleanly and they just keep putting it back through the grindstone.

The issue was she was upset that she was being passed up on internal promotions and new projects in favor of someone new to the company that was fucking the VP even though she's been at RT for many years at that point.

They likely got away with this because, to my recollection, Kathleen was considered a "contract employee" despite being at RT for longer than pretty much any non-founder at the time. They hired her to do specific roles, like Tex, or to help produce/make appearances in RT shorts. She probably wanted to be hired in a full-time capacity and was getting denied in favor of nepotism hires.

Pissed? Nah, this guy's an adult and he's just discovered that the community and thing that he used to love, hates him and wants him dead. Even if the death threats are just hot air, you can't really be sure with all the lunatics out there.

I did watch the whole video. It's just an end of an era kind of thing. Sad to see him go, happy he's moving on the better things.
My biggest regret to this whole situation, is that the fucking idiots won.

Because, end of day, we're not going to get any more of his videos.

You're right, I had the wrong term. But that's my prediction, why would they want to do anything with it and who in their right mind would want to buy it at a price that would make the sale worthwhile for Warner?

We have streaming services now. Warner has Cartoon Network and Boomerang. Warner doesn’t really need to sell. They could just re-edit like what they did in Japan and dump it there if they’re not interested in a reboot. Celtic Phoenix pissed he’ll be denied an opportunity.

Never underestimate the lack of taste of people who were fans of something as a teen/young adult. Slight power level: My parents - intelligent people who I generally thought had taste, and loved Star Trek: TNG - think Star Trek: Picard is a gift from God. The two shows could not be more different, and Picard is just generally a bad show that offers nothing TNG did.

Now think: People who liked RWBY didn't even have any taste in the first place. Imagine a revival 10-15 years down the line. They'll eat it up.

But other than those two, there's not much left of any worth. All of RT's eye-candy turned into prudes or got kicked the fuck out.

I mean, I'm not super picky. RT has had more good looking hotties leave or are only affiliated with them now days. But of all the people still with RT, I've really only got two people that I'm interested in seeing strip down.
