I'm watching Sasaki do her 3.0 brush-up but she's using her Halloween outfit rather than her base. It reminded me of when I watched Subaru all the time, because I recalled that even after Subaru did her 2.0 update she'd still go back to her 1.0 rigging because her favoured outfit (the grey sailor one) didn't work with the new rigging. It might be why some outfits are essentially 'Lost'.

Was this ever changed? I think Niji has less fluidity in things like hair physics as a result but I kind of like that they can totally change it up because the outfits are built on top of the rig rather than baked together.

Ame can mix and match her hair and outfits since her Princess and Kimono updates. Her casual outfit can at least, no real change on the OG from what I've seen.

This is her oldest outfit and newest outfit together, so they probably have the technology.

Might be a modern compatibility thing, then, or its dependent on who is doing the rigging to think ahead like that.

Botan and Ame came out within months of each other, so it's possible that the tech for them was better but everyone in Gen 4 and earlier may have compatibility issues with older outfits.

It would take too long for me to figure out if Niji also has lost outfits for the same reason. I know Pomu/Finana can mix and match despite being a 1.0, but she's a modern 1.0.

Makes sense. With ID/KR going into the main branch, it also probably means they'll be going into their MC server.

They may go the route of merging NijiWORLD server with the main one, and then NijiEN will work together to beat the game and merge with the main server too. Could be the beginning of their Ender Dragon Arc.

On a side note: It's about time we got that Elira/Millie/Enna off-collab.

NijiWORLD was just for NijiKR, ID, and IN. It then became the place for EN. Though a couple of JP members have visited and built stuff, the JP server is very much its own beast.

Rather than have a server for JP, EN, and ID like with Hololive, Niji ended up separating them by 'JP' and 'Not JP' (World). With IN defunct, and ID/KR merging, it makes the most sense for EN (with 20 members and ever-growing) to start their own thing rather than build around other peoples' work.

At least, that's how I think it'll pan out. There is no centralised server despite the naming convention.

This is the blu-ray for the holoalt dawn blue pv. Callie's tweet about it mentions it contains a director's cut of the pv, wonder what that looks like.

Really? I assumed it depended on the character's breast size. At least the smaller ones always seem to go for the one Sora, AZKi, Suisei and Fubuki are wearing in that image.

I find that the neck style leans heavily towards larger busts.
The other two feel like a coin toss though.
The socks/garter is usually tied to the top style, with two alternate combos: Matsuri, Coco, and Botan share the Neck+Garter style; While FBK and Aqua run the Thighhighs+Vest.
EDIT2: Turns out I'm fucking blind, Roboco runs her own Neck+Kneehigh.

A serious autist could probably deduce the practical limits, interchangeable parts, etc., of the original Holo tech by watching Haachama. A lot of her material has been inspired by just screwing around with the model, and I don't think she's ever had a serious "2.0" type upgrade.

Kudos to Polka for bringing Faufau to narrate. Definitely the best choice out of the entire EN bunch for doing a fantasy narration. It's the kinda thing that reminds me Polka is probably my favorite JP member.
