What I find nost interesting is that these Redditors are the first ones to cobdemn Chinese imperialism. Yet, they are quick to enact their own brand of imperialism by threatening/advocating for sanctions to force people into submission.

Don't forget that they then turn around and buy a fuckload of Funko Pop figures and anime/comic book merchandise that was probably made there.

From what i can see the Russian internet is overall either posting combines(the farming equipment) or sucking up the sanctions quite well. Unrest seems uncommon outside of largest cities. and none of the federal subjects seems to be mad. That is just my perspective after looking around a bit. Interestingly though there have been talks about Russian fishing boats docking in wakkanai and violating sanctions by buying a shit ton of Japanese whisky.

The Russian internet is in a number of ways taking a dump as well. The Sberbank website has been offline for days so far, other pages are intermittent.

There is no shortage of people with delusional ideas about how "denazification" worked in Germany after the war and a desire to implement those delusions in other places.
The extermination of the Russian Language for reasons is a unique innovation. I have to give them that. But why not go all the way and sell any baby born in Russia into the international adoption market. It seems like a more efficient means of accomplishing the same overall goal.

I agree with everything other than it's not going to happen. I doubt it will get to that point, but you have to remember if the US goes belly up none of the people who are making the decisions that caused it to collapse have to stick around and suffer the consequences.
