One of tonight's segments for the quintessential boomer show, 60 Minutes, is about Wisconsin's Republicans continuing to challenge the 2020 elections. In promoting that segment, CBS included a clip of a "devout Christian" woman who condescendingly says some people don't like to hear the truth and that there was no voter fraud in the election. They must be getting ready for any shenanigans during the midterms and should Trump announce his 2024 candidacy.

The problem with /pol/ is that they don't realize you have to deal with the Jews to do anything. The world banks, the world media. Their stance on "exterminating the Jews" is a completely impractical pipedream. You aren't going to get shit done with that approach.

Then if they do get rid of the Jews, then you have the Islamic Oil oligarchs at the top. Some group will be at the top. It's just how the world works.

I decided to watch this today.


Maher still has the TDS but him and Shapiro both agree the 2020 election was legitimate.

Also Maher believes in Voter ID but still believes Repubs want voter suppression and Trump wants his people everywhere to be rigging the election by counting the votes. Also believes that Russia hacked the election to help Trump. And admits to literally taking Trump at face value, which even surprises Benny Boy.

Overall it was interesting to get a perspective on what the neoliberals and neocons think.

Debatable. Russian manpower quality is about where it was in 1945, and with a hell of a lot less of them. I'm in irregular contact with a couple Russians I know online and they think Putin is a psychopathic maniac for what he's done to their country with this invasion, and combined with all the protests we're starting to see its clear he has absolutely zero support for the sort of mass callup that would be required to leverage that manpower. Meanwhile Ukraine is just getting emboldened by the fact they're holding the infamous Russian bear at bay, with patriotism through the roof and more willing soldiers than there is capability to get them trained, equipped, and supplied in a reasonable manner. You can always ask Mussolini how his invasion of Greece went for him, there's no panzergrenadiers coming to save Putin's bacon, and unlike Greece the Ukrainians are getting all the supplies they could ask for.

And before anyone goes "but muh Italy!", does anyone really think that with what we've seen the Russian Army is any less of a three-ring circus than the Italian Army was in WW2?

"How To Disagree", LOL. Yeah it's pretty easy for Shapiro and Maher when they both agree on 80% of the issues, most importantly the legitimacy of the premises of leftists. At this point I hold "conservatives" who agree with the likes of Ben Shapiro in more disregard than I do normie liberals. At least the liberals won't countersignal their own side.

it happened for henry clay, and the most recent speaker with barely any experience was some guy in the 1870s that was an early GOP rep with only 10 years of experience
