You even think he could do that right now? You seem to know more Russian history than my, ass, but I do recall Russia grinding the fuck out of wars that should have been easy and it not going well for the leaders that ordered it. Specifically, Japan and Afghanistan.Vlad, seriously, declare victory and leave. Your professional ancestors think you've embarrassed the Rodina by asking the Chinese for ANYTHING.
Stick him into a B-52 and drop him on Moscow.
While I agree the Russo-Sino relationship is purely transactional, I don't really think the Communist party cares about their own people.Perhaps, but I'd still like all three with the Surf Mommy.
Ya, a while ago my brother called me and said Russia had requested aid from China for this war.
To borrow a quote from Saving Private Ryan, things have moved into the surreal.
if you listen carefully, you can hear every Russian Tsar, every dead Soviet leader, and Boris Yeltsin spinning in their graves at 2000 rpm. Nikita Khrushchev's going even faster since he was in power during the Sino-Soviet split. His turbo kicked in.
One great truth of life is Russians don't care much for Chinese. The Chinese don't care much for anyone else except other Han Chinese.
If Russia has, in fact, asked for ANY aid from China, Putin's telling the world his forces in their present state cannot get the job done in Ukraine. For some reason, I see a connection between this and Russia telling the two South Korean airlines they wouldn't be able to refuel their planes if they landed in Moscow.
Things to consider...first, did THAT much money intended to provide for the military end up in people's pockets? THAT much? The money for fuel/rations/supplies/tanks/trucks? Apparently Putin was betting on the come, that Ukraine would put up token or no resistance, and so the takeover was affordable. Putin's found himself fighting a poor man's war now, just enough to grind, not enough to win decisively without use of WMDs. What happened to Russia's reserves of equipment? Was it all sold off? Was it left to rust since those in charge of taking care of it just kept the money and let it go? What sort of support did Russia ask from China? Brother said equipment. Wonder what, maybe trucks. Can't see tanks or planes. He also mentioned unspecified "support". My guess - helping work around sanctions on the Russian economy. Surely Putin wouldn't ask for combat troops. China would be crazy to send them, and Chinese troops would have a good chance at being shot at by both sides in Ukraine. Not going to be that easy to send stuff to Russia. Not many rail/road links between China and Russia. Sending anything by ship could be problematical.
Every day this war goes on, Putin digs himself and Russia in deeper and deeper. Xi may provide some support, but suggest he has noticed Putin has awakened a dozing NATO. Am sure Xi has noticed there are still plenty of US forces in the Pacific.
To restate a previous observation. should NATO countries start mobilizing reserves/National Guard/Territorials/etc., shit's going to get real between NATO and Russia.
Vlad, seriously, declare victory and leave. Your professional ancestors think you've embarrassed the Rodina by asking the Chinese for ANYTHING.
Take it with a grain of salt as it's "unconfirmed" but more Chechens are on route via Donetsk to help with taking Mariupol.I don't know if this has been said here, but Kadyrov is going to Ukraine to visit the Chechen forces there. Considering how good the intelligence Ukraine and the West have on the Russian movement, are we going to see something "unexpected" happening?
Unexpected in what way though? russia releasing chemical shit like all the falseflags that the us has been suspiciously insistent? ukraine pulling a plot armor move and defending succesfully? mauripol being reduced to rubble? i personally think it's just ruski morale boost but we'll see.I don't know if this has been said here, but Kadyrov is going to Ukraine to visit the Chechen forces there. Considering how good the intelligence Ukraine and the West have on the Russian movement, are we going to see something "unexpected" happening?
Him getting killed is definitely in the realm of possibility, western intelligence constantly feeding Ukraine is a major reason they're managing to take out all these generals, and Kadyrov will be an extremely enticing target for the West to help get rid of. Russia can't really accuse the West of killing Kadyrov if he just happened to be in an area that happened to get shelled by the Ukrainians.I don't know if this has been said here, but Kadyrov is going to Ukraine to visit the Chechen forces there. Considering how good the intelligence Ukraine and the West have on the Russian movement, are we going to see something "unexpected" happening?
Well, the number of Russian men coming home in boxes will only increase, least until the Russian Army stops sending them back altogether. Discontent in Russia will only grow as sanctions hit harder and harder. Should Putin call up substantial reserve forces, those losses will also hurt the civilian economy. You even think he could do that right now? You seem to know more Russian history than my, ass, but I do recall Russia grinding the fuck out of wars that should have been easy and it not going well for the leaders that ordered it. Specifically, Japan and Afghanistan.
They care more about the Han Chinese. The rest...we've seen. While I agree the Russo-Sino relationship is purely transactional, I don't really think the Communist party cares about their own people.
Well for a country that is definitely more religious than Western Europe and North America.Russia talked about the reddiors in their progress update thing. Called them "strange mercenaries"

Also said they shot down 2 of the turkroach drones in the last update.
You are assuming all that shit was either notAs a cold war state, Ukraine has tons and tons of bunkers, tunnel networks, and underground military facilities under its major cities. All likely packed with food, ammo, and other supplies for a long war.
Russia is going to have a hell of a time trying to clear them out without resorting to leveling whole cities with bunker-busting missiles and artillery.
And they can't do that because the West is watching too closely and wouldn't allow Afghan-War-style scorched earth tactics on Ukrainians.
They've really gotten themselves into a bad spot.
Please, please send them as a forward advance force into Mariupol without any armor or air support.Take it with a grain of salt as it's "unconfirmed" but more Chechens are on route via Donetsk to help with taking Mariupol.
This accepts at face value that you possess freedom and that ordinary citizens have some sort of organic perception of a threat that isn’t produced/managed by central institutions. When people demand something that the state doesn’t want, it doesn’t happen. Public opinion is manufactured and is a tool of legitimization, it isn’t a real driver of policy. That’s my point, people don’t have “freedoms” outside of what the government is willing to grant or is unable to control. I was arguing against the idea that America’s cultural emphasis on freedom somehow translated into real political independence for ordinary people. This is patently fucking false, people willingly write legislation to have their freedoms abrogated to bruise a political enemy all the time, latest example is the Earn It Act. Yes, people do offer their own freedoms on a sacrificial altar all the time, they make demands for it. Sometimes they're paid shills for the special interests, but frequently it's just idiots with tunnel vision trying to destroy a perceived threat.
Russia should livestream those executions for the lulz. From what the state department is saying, looks like the Russians asked the Chinese for support in evading sanctions, not direct military aid which wouldn't make a lot of sense given the giant stockpile of Soviet crap the Russians can lean on if they are that desperate
Also the dead gay failing shadow of the red army is probably going to take mariupol tomorrow and execute all the nazis, which will be funny as it will enrage all the Twitter leftists
"Please trust all the hearsay and assumptions this anime faggot made in this clickbait video"Russia is creating their own web security certificate, which will give them the ability to decrypt communication & reroute Russian citizens to phony clone sites, further allowing them to spy on their own civilians.
