America has a very strong culture based around personal freedoms even if it's lost some of its edge. Even the worst bootlickers tend to want to keep their own freedoms. They wouldn't agree to something that, to some extent, hamstrings their own liberty.
I really don't see it going the way of China because Chinese citizens are the complete opposite. They have willingly given up their freedoms and placed everything in the government's hands for the sake of security. The government isn't just something formed for society to function, it's a patriarchal figure and going against it is seen as going against everyone else as well.
It's not a trade most people in the states are willing to make, if only because half the time the government isn't their favorite color.
Yeah but there is a lot of america hate with the same level of ignorance as the ones they criticize for having uneducated opinions about russia/ukraine.

NATO will just show up and stand idly by watching people die in a besieged city.
They have a track record. But only the cities they like starve. The rest get bombed.

NATO is a train wreck and was outdated in 1989. They murder children for upvotes, they are the Reddit fueled ATF of world government organizations. I won't even touch the UN, they are the Antifa types impotently attacking ICE buildings and posting the videos on Twitter so they can go to pound me in the ass prison for 10 years for arson.

No, you're wrong on this one.
NATO will make threats do war games and exercises in the Baltic and Poland and do nothing else.
The UN will just show up and stand idly by watching people die in a besieged city.
i think if nato becomes convinced that russia is carrying out genocide tier war crimes against ukraine, it will act. that's what made them act in yugoslavia as well. given some time, they will talk themselves into believing that the russians will not exercise the nuclear option, and then the way is open to humanitarian intervention to stop holodomor 2.

The job she has is literally bullshitting for the president how is this not common knowledge? People only quote press secretaries to make fun of them.
The one blonde bitch under Trump was ok, I think it was McEnany? Though that might just be because she was there to tard wrangle the media and would show up with a binder full of counter points to present direct references to loaded questions.

As a cold war state, Ukraine has tons and tons of bunkers, tunnel networks, and underground military facilities under its major cities. All likely packed with food, ammo, and other supplies for a long war.

Russia is going to have a hell of a time trying to clear them out without resorting to leveling whole cities with bunker-busting missiles and artillery.

And they can't do that because the West is watching too closely and wouldn't allow Afghan-War-style scorched earth tactics on Ukrainians.

They've really gotten themselves into a bad spot.

Odessa is also home to massive catacombs, it was even used by Soviet partisans during World War 2.

After the disaster that was the bombing of the foreign barracks in western Ukraine, I would bet most foreign volunteers are not as secure or confident anymore since they now know they can be blown to kingdom come in significant numbers by Russian missiles.

Not the distinguished or glorious way to die they thought they would have.
Russia talked about the reddiors in their progress update thing. Called them "strange mercenaries"

Also said they shot down 2 of the turkroach drones in the last update.

I really don't think there's any risk of NATO getting actively involved with this war. Most European militaries are both broke and small and it would take months of shipping vehicles over to Europe for the US to have a force large enough to actually handle a potential offensive into Belarus/Russia.

Also I feel Putin would just say fuck it and deploy tactical nukes if it came to that, cause why not?

Just to give some close combat perspective....and that is where I get my de-facto qualifications, the game Close Combat.

If you don't go in strength, you are fucked. Nobody wins a war singlehandedly. The only reason SEAL platoons or SPUSHUL FORCES detachments are viable is that the assets that are used to train, supply, deploy, and then provide actionable intelligence to them are of high quality. It's basically a Training x Supply x Intelligence x Cohesion equation. And even then they fuck up all the time. See: 21 SEALs etc getting wrecked by an RPG-7. It's never perfect. The guys in Ukraine have very little of all of these things, other than what western intelligence and supply gets them.

I have no idea what these morons going over there are thinking other than they want attention on Reddit. Well...they are getting it. I hope they made peace with whatever Internet god they chose, because they are going to be reading those upvotes from a different plane of existence.

Never underestimate the degree to which globohomo believes its own bullshit.
