I always thought that not just the trans movement, but the pronoun movement as a whole has incorporated cult-like thinking. You can't believe in only some parts of their ideology, you have to either accept or reject the whole thing, because their doctrine is self referential. for example, you can't believe that trans women are women unless you also believe that gender is separate from sex, and you can't believe that unless you also accept that gender is a social construct, and that it can change, and so on and so on. They can't provide evidence for any of their statements that doesn't depend on someone already accepting other ideas held by their movement.

I like that half of them are doing that old "if they pass you can't tell the difference" canard, and the other half are claiming that attraction isn't about physical attributes at all, people are attracted to the abstract conceptual categories of "man" and "woman", never mind the body shape or genitals. So which is it? Should lesbians (and straight men) suck the girldick because they are supposed to be attracted to "women" ( whatever those are)? Or do transwomen pass so well that lesbians (and straight men) are lying when they say they can tell the difference? It's a logical contradiction that troons just pretend not to see whenever this conversation comes up.

Even back in the day when I was really supportive of troons, I knew deep down this line of thinking was bullshit. "If they pass then you can't even tell the difference!" is some true lunacy that even the most loyal handmaidens don't really believe. If troons really and TRULY passed, there wouldn't be an issue in the first place (Unless you're a straight guy wanting to get your wife pregnant).

Interesting how this fellow is apparently a man of faith, yet seems to blame God for his predicament. It wasn't God that put that scalpel in the doctor's hand, Fanny. You only have yourself to blame for taking this idea of being a woman and running with it. The sooner he realizes his role in his own destruction, the sooner he might be able to salvage however little of his dignity he might have left. Even if the more-permanent effects of transitioning cannot be reversed, he can at least redefine his life to be about more than his yearning to be a woman.
