Well first, greatly overstating how much of a shithole Ukraine is. Like most countries like this it depends on the geography. Also Ukraine has like 4000 biolabs in the country. Legacy of the Soviet Union perhaps, but the vast majority of them are BSL 1 or 2, with a few BSL 3.

And no, as fucking stupid as the administration is, they never said there were no biolabs. You likely saw a headline that says "Jen Psaki denies Russian disinformation on Biological Weapons Labs" and assumed that she said there were no labs. Then when Nuland said it wouldn't be good if some of the diseases studied leaked due to say, the lab losing power, or getting blowed the fuck up, idiots like you started REEEEEEING that she released some secret when you can't spend five minutes doing fucking research.

The discussion has been that Putin's horseshit is that these labs are bioweapons labs, and that crazy shit like sending birds with the plague to Russia to kill people. Russia pulled the same shit in Georgia.

Nigger the only reason you open a biolab in a shithole like Ukraine is because you can get away with anything there thanks to corruption. There is no reason the government would be seething over Russia taking these labs if all they were researching was mundane shit like the sniffles.
