I'd be hard-pressed to go back and find when she spoke about it, but yes, she's mentioned a lot of it is regarding her illness and being an outlet for her feelings about it. If her art is as emotionally invested as she's implied, then her taking it down so quickly makes some sense.

It really does seem like her getting kicked out of Hololive was actually a blessing in disguise does it?
I mean, her and Kson essentially get to do whatever the fuck they want and rake in the cash without having to give a cut to any corpo and without obligations. I'd say that is pretty good as long as they can keep their audience around. Kson said the JPs really like the anime kayfabe, so I assume if she gets a 2D avatar she should be able to keep her audience long-term.
Why do people ever doubt he's a tranny after performances like this? Only Trannies get assblasted after mild critique on how they play a game. And only trannies are delusional enough to think people care about his fragile feelings.

Not too sure about that tbh. Even if you ignore the fact that it would significantly cut them off from their current friends and colleagues and look at it from a purely financial standpoint, the opportunities that Cover provides re:sponsorships, merch manufacture, and legal & tech support are probably well worth the 30% SC cut. There's a reason the ones who maintain their PL channels on the side still put a lot of effort into their Holo persona. Mikeneko might well be rolling in SC dosh right now but we'll have to see how it goes in the long run for her, she doesn't seem to have the financial sense and connections Kson has.
They're all definitely aware of this path now ever since Kson/Coco proved it's doable. Maybe tweak the strategy a bit and commission a high-end, personal Live2D model while still a Holo and just keep it on storage. Basically set-up everything and develop a network outside of Cover in case shit hits the fan on your Holo career.
Certainly not for people like Suisei or Watame. They will not quit before having large concert in, at least, Budokan.
i doubt any will do it if things are still going good on the HL side, i think they realized that on a big yab theres a chance they could jump and get the golden parachute still, but i doubt any of them would go for it otherwise even with creative constraints
