After a quarter of Europe's population died fighting wars over who was in charge of which piece of clay and why, it was agreed that certain fundamental principles applied. Clay was not given to the rulers by God. Clay was given to the rulers because they had a legal right to said Clay, and they had absolute authority over what happened on their Clay. More importantly, some absent God no longer determined the legitimacy of the rulers ownership of the Clay. The recognition of other Clay owners over your clay meant you owned the Clay.
The only phase I hate more than "The Clay" is fucking "magic dirt" because it reduces everything to "They're just fighting over ground, man, they just need to get along, man."

If you were shocked by this, you are a clueless fucking moron.

I've been sitting here laughing my ass about it since day one.

And it just keeps getting funnier.

This shit is straight outta fucking OG NATO shit. Not this pussy post-911 NATO shit, but real fucking nigga NATO.

Anyone who was shocked, anyone who didn't see this shitshow coming when it started, and is military, obviously spent their entire career in the FOB or just shooting at camel fucking retards and never trained or even thought about facing off against anyone who might shoot back with more than a rusty AK sold to them by an Israeli fleamarket dealer or a slave trader.

The only way this could get funnier is if one of the Eurofags sends in their troops and everyone gets their shit pushed in while the NATO groups cry for Big Daddy Unca Sam to please lend them a cup of bullets and some missiles, pretty please?

Fuck that whole continent and fuck anyone who's completely fucking shocked at how this is going.
Eh, it's been so long since there's been a major conventional war anywhere people tend to forget that conventional warfare tends to produce pretty high body counts on either side. Just look at the Korean war. You had on one side an army of untrained conscripts using second-hand equipment and on the other side, an army led by a ton of hardened veterans from WW2 using the most modern shit from the era. Both sides took massive casualties. Hell even in Vietnam which was about half conventional and half guerrilla warfare the US took around 50,000 fatal casualties.

I find it sad people act like NATO was never going to threaten Russia when in the early 2000s Putin tried to get Russia into NATO. What was it's response? No, you aren't allowed.

This really set the mindset for Putin and a lot of Russians that the West sees them as something to exploit not an equal in addition to all the shit they did to back Yelchin.

Zelensky should have really taken a page from Georgia and remembered what taking NATO cockteases got them. George is effectively a rump state on Russia's border now that can never do anything Russia doesn't want it too without much leeway for their own policies, even though they hate the Russians. Why did this happen? Because they were baited to join NATO and got no aid when Russia played the wests bluff in 2008.

NATO had no purpose to exist past the Soviet Union's downfall and continually found an excuse to continue to exist. First it was intervening in the mess that was Yugoslavia, then it was expanding it's influence into parts of Europe they promised now to, then it was bombing Libya.

They wonder why Putin acted the way he did a few weeks ago.
I would love my own government more if they abolished taxes but this is just him trying to keep people from leaving.

Thank you for reminding me there are people so delusional still in existence over someone who isn't president anymore.

Not surprising in the slightest.

It's common knowledge that Russia's pre-sanction economy was the size of Texas. This means that the US has WAY more to lose in a nuclear exchange. I cannot overstate how retarded Biden is to continually stack the deck in favor of Russia finally saying "fuck it, let's just return to monke - we're a poor-as-fuck shithole now and we'll be a poor-as-fuck shithole after"

Russia might actually end up being the death of the anitchrist globohomo.
Jack Carr, one of the many, many exNavy Seals/CIA Pamilitaries was on the Buck Sexton show today and he said Russian military doctrine includes first strike as an "escalate to deescalate" strategy. Taking out a small city
to prove they can and will. Like with Ukr they keep talking as they fight. And we have idiots on our side who say Putin won't. Plus we have Brandon.
None of the drugstores around here carry iodine pills.

I can actually explain this. So bear with me.

The issue here goes back a loooong way. 500 years actually, to the end of the Protestant-Catholic Wars in the Holy Roman Empire with the Peace of Westphalia.

This was all well and good at ending the Religious wars in Europe, but it didn't truly solve the issue. What gave a government legitimacy over the Clay? After all, all the Clay was claimed by hereditary aristocrats. Which became a problem, especially have fur wearing barbarians in the new world decided that the world's Clay actually belonged to the people and not the Aristocrats. Which ushered in another round of serious blood letting and fighting over Clay, especially by an Upstart Corsican named Napoleon who, riding on the populist wave declared that laws be damned, the Clay belonged to whoever could take it.

He lost though, and the winners had to decide how to fix the system. So they settled on a compromise. The Clay DID belong to whoever could take and hold it, but it ALSO required the consent of the other Clay holders. Thus was born the concert of Europe, which ushered in an eternal peace...omg Germany is now a major world power, the Austrian Empire is fracturing on Ethnic Lines, Commies are everywhere, the Ottomans are useless and some faggot serb just shot an aristocrat.

Another major slap fight later, the entire world is teetering on Chaos and now the New World who started this mess is now in charge, headed by a segregationist American southern aristocrat named Woodrow Wilson who proclaimed that Race was the determining factor of who owns the Clay, and every Race should have their own Clay. Great Britain said no, because fuck the Scots and Indians. France said no because "Fuck" the Algerians. Russia said No, because fuck capitalist pig dogs. But Germany, Austria and the Ottomans could not say no.

And so from the defeated central power Racially based Clay was established. And peace was restored at last....omg Germany wants all of the German Race in their Clay....

One world War later and the USA, now undisputed Master of the west was done with Europe's balance of power remedies. The concert of Europe? Finished. Europe will dance to the electric guitar of Washington. And like it. What gives a country legitimacy over its Clay? Well, the USA recognizes it, and let's it into the UN. And once in the UN, the Clay is forever frozen for all eternity. Peace for all time.

Omg Russia wants to reclaim Russian speaking clay....

And that is why shit has hit the fan. Russia is following the revanchist path in attempting to upset the order that ostensibly exists to keep Peace in Europe. It's also why the US establishment has reacted so badly and seemingly out of proportion to the actual stakes on the ground. To the US state department, what Putin has done borders on sacrilege.

So why should I give a care about a bunch of slavs shooting each other on the other side of the globe, that doesn't hurt American homeland in any way again?

Which makes me wonder why the current Powers That Be have such a hard-on for the Ukraine. Sure there's there's the Rus/NATO line, but that's moved before.
Putin took away DC's little money machine.

IN flowed billions of tax payer dollars for "aid".
Out flowed campaign funding, no show job's for their kids at Ukrainian energy company's, and all sorts of other kickbacks and contracts.

This little machine wasn't a democrat or republican thing. Anyone in the DC beltway was allowed to use it.

That’s is the power of blue anon and trump derangement syndrome they are living proof of it sooner or later they are going to approve of violence towards Russians who have nothing to do with the war. Hell I’m going to go as so far they want to ethnic cleanse the entire country for they precive as Russians for what they did in 2016

In short, Nuclear War.

The invention of fission weapons put a real spin on the balance of power issue. Especially since now the cat is out of the bag anyone can build a nuclear bomb. Lithuania, Ukraine and Sweden can become nuclear armed nations within months of the directive being given. Germany too, before they abandoned their reactors. So 2 years for them now.

Greece, Turkey, Romania, and Poland can also become nuclear powers within a year or two, given sufficient motivation. Keep in mind South Africa was nuclear capable for a few years before it got sanctioned to death.

And this is why the US cares a great deal, because nukes have changed the cost benefit analysis, and game theory is very clear. The more players their are, the greater the likelihood for Armageddon. The US, HAS to guarantee the stability of Europe at this point. The alternative is fucking Lithuania developing nukes and aiming them at Moscow and Kaliningrad.

This more then anything else I think is why official Washington is furious and scared. They thought Putin understood this. Since it is clear he does not, the question is now what game he is playing and what the rules are.

I always used to get a kick out of explaining that we took more casualties in a matter of hours than we did in the entire Iraq war.

Can these people please die of kung flu or aids from an encounter with the neighborhood jogger please.
Reminder you were exposed for jerking off to gay pedophile incest fan fiction and the only reason you don’t have a thread here is some janny thought you would neck and prevented it.

^Zelensky when he manages to hold off the Russians, but doesn't have a way to pay for the war.

^Putin when he's hit with war reparations, and just pays them by printing rubles because they're already worthless.

:story: So the country which desperately wants to put people like Chris chan into places of power should be the ones to decide who does and who doesn't get nukes?

Mainstream conventional warfare is not the only type of warfare to produce high body counts.

People forget the deadliest war since WW2, the Congo war with more than 5.4 million deaths.

No one gives a shit because those countries don't exist as far the normal Burger or Europoor is concerned but it's nonetheless a reminder that deadly conflicts with hundreds of thousands of casualties still exist in the 21st century.

If I remember correctly they still have nuclear bombs, which is why they are procuring the F-35.
are you retarded? at no point in history did germany ever have nuclear bombs.
they had early stage uranium research projects during ww2 but couldn't take it far enough to make a reactor, let alone a bomb. and post ww2 germany is deliberately kept defenseless by its overlords (americans, french, russians, brits)
